Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the proforma prescribed by the DHE, Assam vide letter No.DHE/CE/Misc/49/202 1/184 dtd. 12-06-2023 (also may be downloaded from our college website i.e. www.jagannathsinghcollege.ac.in) along with complete Bio-Data and all testimonials (3 sets) from HSLC onwards for filling up the following sanctioned posts of Assistant Professors at Jagannath Singh College, Udharbond in the UGC scale of pay.

Terms and Conditions

(a) The candidate must have good academie with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale) at the Masters degree level in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC/ ST/PWD candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph.D. holders who have obtained their Masters degree prior to 19h Sept., 1991. The candidate has to acquire qualifications as on the last date for submission of applications. Eligibility like M. Phil/ Ph.D/ Seminar Papers/ Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.

(b) Candidates educational qualifications and selection procedure will be as per Govt. OM AHE 239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022, with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards and procedures for award of Ph.D. degree exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET.

(c) Age of candidates should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2023 with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

(d) In-service candidates should apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the competent authority.

(e) Candidates must have Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know local language.

(f) Application accompanied with a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 1500.00 (Rupees One thousand five hundred) only drawn in favour of Principal Jagannath Singh College, Udharbond, Cachar payable at Punjab National Bank (PNB), Udharbond Branch should reach the undersigned within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the advertisement. No excuse of postal delay will be accepted.

(g) As per Govt. Letter AHE.429/202 1/PU3 dated 01.02.2022, and DHE, Assam vide letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/49/2021/Pt./6 dated. 10-02-2022 the college regrets to consider the application of candidates from outside the state.

h) Interview schedule will be uploaded in the collage website and call letters to the qualified candidates will be sent through e-mail only (Candidates should correctly write their email-id in the format).

(i) Incomplete applications shall not be accepted

No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview
