Applications are invited for one position of Project Research Scientist I/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (Rs. 56000/- + 9% HRA p.m. or as per GOI (ICMR) rule) in ICMR funded project titled “Inhibiting glycosomal membrane biogenesis as a potential leishmaniasis treatment” for a period of four years.
The post is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
The candidates should be M.Sc. in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or other relevant subjects.
Candidate who has qualified NET/ GATE will be preferred. Knowledge of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry is desirable.
Age limit is maximum 28 years (or as per GOI rule).
Applicants may walk in for the interview on 17.04.2024 in the Department of Microbiology, Assam University, Silchar – 788011, Assam, India at 12 NOON with 3 copies of bio-data and supporting documents in original.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
