Notification for recruitment of one (01) Project Associate under the SERB, Govt. of India funded research project in the Department of Physics

Aliah University Recruitment 2024 Project Associate

Applications are invited for purely temporary position of one (01) full time Project Associate (PA) to be appointed under a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India funded research project entitled “Computation of nuclear reaction rate and astrophysical S-function for light nuclei fusion at sub-barrier energies using space varying complex potential.”

(File no. SUR/2022/004670) in the Department of Physics, Aliah University [Principal Investigator: Dr. Md. Abdul Khan).

Selection will be done through an interview process after receiving the application from eligible candidates.

Duration: Aliah University Recruitment 2024 Project Associate

Initially for a period of 12 months and extendable maximum up to 36 months based on the performance and further approval of tenure extension from SERB, Govt. of India.

Fellowship Amount: Rs. 31,000/month (consolidated)

Eligibility criteria: Aliah University Recruitment 2024 Project Associate

Essential:

i)M.Sc. in Physics from a UGC recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks

ii)Age limit: Up to 28 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rule)

Desirable (if any):

Candidates having good knowledge in nuclear physics, expertise in writing codes in Fortran/Python/C++ programming languages and who qualified any of the national level exams e.g. NET/SET/GATE/JEST etc. will be appreciated.
