Visvesvaraya Fellowship 2023: IIIT Kalyani PhD Admission. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani (IIIT Kalyani).

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme under Visvesvaraya Fellowship in the Autumn Semester, 2023 – 2024.

Visvesvaraya Fellowship 2023:

Students with BE/B.Tech/equivalent and ME/M.Tech in CSE/ECE/allied discipline may apply in this category.

Fellowship will be awarded to 2 students for 5 years as per Visvesvaraya fellowship Phase II norms (1st and 2nd year: Rs. 38,750/- per month, 3rd, 4th, 5th year: Rs. 43,750/- per month with HRA and Research contingency as per norms).

Eligibility Criteria: Visvesvaraya Fellowship 2023

Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in CSE/ECE/relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 (in a 10 grade point scale) or 60% of marks.

Mere fulfilment of eligibility criteria does not ensure an applicant’s right to admission in the Ph.D programme.

The decision of the selection committee will be final in this regard.

Reservations will be applicable as per MoE, Govt. of India norms.

Application fees of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) for SC/ST/EWS should be paid (before submitting the Google form) through online transfer in the bank account of IIIT Kalyani (details given below).
