Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow in are search project entitled “Aggregation phenomena on complex networks with application to interdisciplinary problems” funded by CSIR as per the following details:

Position: Junior research fellow (JRF) (onepost)

Department: Physics, University of Calcutta,

Principal Investigator (PI): Parongama Sen

Project tenure: 3years; upto 31 December 2026

Essential qualifications: University of Calcutta Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2023

(a) Master’s degree in Physics

(b) NET (JRF/Lecturership) and/or GATE qualification

Desirable qualifications: University of Calcutta Junior Research Fellow Jobs 2023

The JRF is expected to work in topics related to Statistical Physics and candidates with expertise in the subject will be preferred. The project will involve heavy computational work. Knowledge of Fortran/C++/Python is essential. Experience in conducting numerical simulations will be considered as added qualification.

Age limit: University of Calcutta Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2023

The upper age limit for applying for the award of JRF shall be 28 years, which is relaxed upto 5years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/Divyangjan (PWD) and female applicants where as 3years in the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates).

Remuneration: University of Calcutta Junior Research Fellow Jobs 2023

Rs. 37000/-per month.
