Applications arc invilcd onlinc from eligible condidates for admission to Ph.D. Programme in Science (Mathematics – 3, Zoology -2, Botany-3, Cemistry -8. Physics -4, Gocgraphy -2, Economics -3) for the session 2023 2024 in Panskura Banamali College (Autonomous) Research Centre in Science.

The candidate will have to fill the application form through online portal or the college www.panskurabanamalicollegc.ac.in.

After successful completion or all the steps ( filling in the personal details, academic details, uploading photo and signature) the candidate will have to pay Rs. 500/-only (plus convenience fee and (1ST, if application) as applicable fee for the Ph.D. programme through online mode of payment (credit / debit card. net banking etc.) only.

The candidates arc asked to follow the admission schedule for the same as follows:

• Applications will be received online from: 16.01.2024 to 03.02.2024

• Publication of list of valid applications: 06.02.2024

• Date of viva-voce: 16.02.2024

• Publication or provisional result: 23 .02.20:24

• Admission to Ph.D. programme: will be notified later

Eligibility criteria: Panskura Banamali College PhD Admission 2023-24

A candidate having Master Degree in any one or the subjects Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry. Physics. Geography and Economics or a degree deemed equivalent from any university or institution recognized by UGC or such other degree may be considered as sufficient condition if (s)he has obtained at least 55% (General category), 50% (SC, ST, PH, OBC -A, OBC B, EWS categories) marks. Provided that

• A candidate who has completed at least a total of 5 years in UG and PG study in a rccognized institution or university.

• The candidate who is not currcntiy admitted as a student in any full time course or studies or registered for doing Ph.D. in any university.

• Candidates who have qualified NET/ SET/ UGC (JRF) / M. Phil or any other equivalent examination.

• Final semester post-graduate students may also apply for the Ph.D programme provided that they ful fill all the above criteria at the time od admission.

• No written admission test/ret will he held. Only the eligible candidates with having NET/SET/UGC (JRF)/ M.Phil qualifications will he called for interview. However candidates who are RET qualified from Vidyasagar University in the session 2023 -2024 may apply for Ph.D. programme of above mentioned subjects and they will he called for viva-voce.

• Interview will be held at Vidyasagar University campus.
