All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh an Autonomous Institute of National Importance is one of new AIIMS and apex healthcare being established by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under Pradhan Mantri Swastya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with aim of correcting regional imbalance in quality tertiary level healthcare in country, and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training.

As per EWS guidelines, if vacancy earmarked for EWS cannot be filled up due to non-availability of a suitable candidate belonging to EWS, such vacancies for that particular recruitment year shall not be carried forward to the next recruitment year as backlog, hence other category candidates may be allowed provisionally to apply for these posts, subject to condition that they will be considered for the post as an UR candidate, only if EWS category vacancy is otherwise not filled.

- Application Process: Applications are invited from Indian Nationals in prescribed form through online mode only for various faculty posts in AIIMS Rishikesh. Link for online application portal is available at institute website. On-line filling up of application form will start on 23.10.2023 (10:00 AM) and will automatically close on 13.11.2023 (23:59 hrs). No Documents including online application form is required to be sent, however, all applicants are advised to keep a copy of online application form with them, along with proof of payment (a Copy of online payment receipt) for their record.
In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill form separately through On-line mode only along with requisite application fee.

RESERVATION FOR ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTIONS (EWS):
The vacancies advertised under EWS Category are as per the instructions issued by DoPT, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Govt. of India, vide OM. No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res), dated 31.01.2019. Application under EWS category will be considered subject to submission of Income and Assets certificate on a prescribed format issued by the competent authority and subject to verification of genuinely of the certificate by the issuing authority. As per DoP&T OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res), dated 31.01.2019, the crucial date for submitting income and asset certificate by the candidate is the last date of receipt of application form, except in cases where date is fixed otherwise. Therefore, a valid EWS certificate will be the one which has been issued by the competent authority, as prescribed by the GOI/DOPT. Candidates who fail to produce valid EWS certificate will not be considered for reservation under this category. They will however, be considered for UR category. Therefore, EWS candidate must ensure that they have a valid EWS certificate on the last date of receipt of application form. The EWS certificate must be valid for financial year 2023-2024 and issued on or after 01.04.2023 & on or before last date of submission of online application form based on income of year 2022-2023.
- Short Listing: Prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing same does not entitle any candidate for selection. Based on bio-data, Selection Committee may short-list candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at time of interview.
- Site of Interview: Interviews will be held at AIIMS, Rishikesh. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for interview.VI. Essential Qualification:

e) Essential Qualification in Department of Hospital Administration:
For Medical Candidates:
- A medical qualification included in Schedule I & ll or part ll of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-ll of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
- A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
OR
A Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from a recognized Institution/University or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- Fourteen/ Ten/ Six/ Three years teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD/MS/MHA or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical candidates:
- Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration e.g. Masters’ Degree in Hospital Administration.

Candidates applying on Direct Recruitment Basis Faculty Post (Medical): Age limit not exceeding 50 years for Assistant Professor & Associate Professor and 58 years for Additional Professor & Professor.
Candidates applying on Direct Recruitment Basis Faculty Post (Nursing): Age limit not exceeding 50 years for Lecturer in Nursing (Assistant Professor).
Candidates applying on Deputation Basis: The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation provided under Department of Personnel & Training as amended from time to time.

- Promotions: A teacher gaining requisite experience for higher post can be granted promotion subject to Rules and Regulations applicable from time to time in Central Government Institutions/ AIIMS.
- Clearances: Appointments are subject to clearances as for equivalent posts in Government of India.
Terms & Conditions: AIIMS Rishikesh Recruitment 2023 Faculty Posts
- Candidate who is already working in government service will intimate his/her Employer.
- Applicants already in Government service shall have to produce Relieving Certificate from their present employer before joining Institute.
- Employees of Institute will be governed by New Pension Scheme as per provision contained in Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division). Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB&PR dated 22.12.2003.
- Residential accommodation to faculty staff appointed at Institute would be provided as per rules and subject to availability. H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand will be provided.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
- Prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
- Essential qualification must be registered with MCI / NMC.
- Appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited.
- He/ She is expected to conform to rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to institute employees.
- Candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- Reservation will be as per Government of India rules / guidelines.
- In case any information given or declaration by candidate is found to be false or if candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from service and any action taken as deemed fit by appointing authority.
