Applications are invited for the Direct Recruitment for the post of GRADUATE  TEACHERS / BLOCK RESOURCE TEACHER  EDUCATORS (BRTE) in School Education and other departments included in the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu School Educational Subordinate Service for the year 2023- 2024 from the eligible Candidates of Tamil Nadu only through Online mode up to 5.00 pm. On 30.11.2023.

The Candidates applying for the post of GRADUATE TEACHERS / BLOCK RESOURCE TEACHER EDUCATORS (BRTE) should possess a valid Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate. (TNTET Paper – II)

RULE OF RESERVATION: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

Vertical Reservation: 69% of the Communal reservation will be followed vertically as per the existing Government Rules / Orders i.e.,18% shall be reserved for Scheduled Castes including 3% reservation for Scheduled Caste  Arunthathiyars  (SCA)  on preferential basis amongst the Scheduled Castes, 1% for Scheduled Tribes, 26.5% for Backward Classes (other than Backward Class Muslims), 3.5% for the Backward Class Muslims, 20% for Most Backward   Classes   and   Denotified   Communities and   31% shall be filled by General Turns.

As per Section 27(a) of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act,2016. if even after filling up of the required appointments or posts reserved for Arunthathiyars amongst in Schedule V, if more number of qualified Arunthathiyars are available, such excess number of candidates of Arunthathiyars shall be entitled to compete with the other Scheduled Castes in the inter-se-merit among them and if any appointment or post reserved for Arunthathiyars remain unfilled for want of adequate number of qualified candidates, it shall be filled up by Scheduled Castes other than Arunthathiyars.

B. Horizontal Reservation:

Reservation for Women:

30% of the total vacancies will be reserved horizontally for Women candidates as per Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act 2016, section 26, rule (Tamil Nadu Act No.14 of 2016), and existing Government Rules / Orders. If qualified  and  suitable women candidates are not available for  selection  against  the  vacancies reserved for them, those vacancies will be filled by male candidates belonging to those respective communal categories.

(ii) Reservation for Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM):

The reservation of 20% for Persons Studied in Tamil Medium shall be followed as per Section 2(d) of the Tamil Nadu Appointment on preferential basis in the services under the State of Persons Studied in Tamil Medium Act, 2010, as amended by Act 35 of 2020, Person studied in Tamil medium means a person who has studied through Tamil as medium of instruction from 1st Std. and upto the minimum educational qualification prescribed for direct    recruitment    in    the    rules    or              regulations     or    orders applicable to any appointment in the services under the State. [G.O.(Ms.)No.82, Human Resource Management (S) Department, Dated 16.08.2021]

  • Candidates claiming reservation under Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) must upload / produce evidence for the same in the form of SSLC, HSC, Diploma, Course Completion Certificate, Mark Sheets, Transfer Certificate, Provisional Certificate, Degree Certificate and Certificate from the Board or University or from the Institution,   as the case may be, with evidence that he/she has studied the entire duration of the respective course(s) through Tamil as Medium of instruction at the time of submission of Online application.
  • Candidates must upload   documents as   evidence for having studied in Tamil medium, from 1st Std. upto the minimum educational qualification prescribed as per the Notification at the time of submission of Online application.
  • If no such documents as evidence for ‘PSTM’ are available, a certificate from the Principal / Headmaster of the Educational Institution / Block Educational Officer (BEO)/ District Educational Officer (DEO) / Chief Educational Officer (CEO)/ District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer /Joint Director of Technical Education/ Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education/ Registrar/ Controller of Examinations/ Head / Director of Educational Institution, Director / Joint Director of Technical Education / Competent Authority as the case may be, in the prescribed format for having studied in Tamil medium from Ist Std. of the educational qualification prescribed.(As per Annexure Format I &II).
  • Failure to upload the above mentioned such documents at the time of submission of Online application as evidence, shall result in the rejection of candidature after due process.
  • PSTM Documents uploaded for the partial duration of any course / private appearance at any examination at the time of   submission of   Online application as proof of having studied in Tamil medium, shall not be accepted and shall result in the rejection of candidature after due process.

(iii)  Reservation for Secondary Grade Teachers / Special Teachers in Current Vacancies (SGT/ Spl Trs):

As per G.O.(Ms.) No.110, School  Education  SE2(1) Department, dated 26.05.2017 and G.O.(Ms.) No.13, School Education Department, Dated. 30th January 2020, 10% of total vacancies shall be earmarked for appointment from among the Secondary Grade Teachers and other Teachers with Secondary Grade level of pay., viz., Craft Instructors, Art Masters, Music Teachers and Physical Education Teachers; also the Pre-Vocational Instructor (Full-time) in Tamil Nadu Elementary Educational Subordinate Service working in Government Higher Secondary Schools, Government High Schools, recognized Higher Secondary Schools, High Schools, Middle Schools and Elementary Schools under the Local Bodies (Corporation or Municipal or Panchayat Union) and all Aided Managements.

Provided also that if the said 10% of total vacancies could not be filled as above they shall be filled up from Candidates in open market.

(iv) Reservation for Differently Abled Persons:

The reservation of 4% for the Differently Abled persons shall be followed for the different categories as per G.O.(Ms.) No.20,

Welfare of Differently Abled Persons (DAP.3.2) Department dated 20.06.2018.

(v)  Determination of the Community for Transgender:

  1. The Transgender candidates, who do not possess any community certificate, may choose to be considered under Most Backward Classes as per G.O.(Ms.) No.28, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes andMinorities Welfare Department, dated 06.04.2015.
  2. The Transgender candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Castes (A) / Scheduled Tribes communities and possess community certificate as such, shall be considered as per their respective community.
  3. The Transgender candidates who belong to the communities other than Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Castes (A) / Scheduled Tribes and possess community certificate as such are permitted to choose to be considered as belonging to their own community or as Most Backward Classes whichever is advantageous to them, at the time of Online Application itself. Once the Transgender Candidate individual opts to be considered as a particular community, it shall be crystallized and this option shall not be changed in future.

Reservation in Employment for Transgender: –

Reservation in Employment for Transgender shall be followed as per G.O.(Ms.) No.90, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme [SW8(2)] Department, dated 22.12.2017.

QUALIFICATIONS: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

A.  Age Limit (as on 01.07.2023):

As per the G.O (M.s) No.185, School Education (Budget-1) Department dated: 21.10.2023, the upper age limit (relating to Age Rule 5 of the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu School Educational Subordinate Service) fixed by the Government is as follows:

  • The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to General Category for appointment by direct recruitment to this selection is 53 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year viz:2023.
  • Also the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC and DW of all castes is 58 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year viz:2023.

B.     Educational Qualifications (As on the date of Notification):

No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post of GRADUATE TEACHERS/ BLOCK RESOURCE TEACHER EDUCATORS (BRTE), unless he/she

possesses the minimum educational qualifications as follows:

  • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known);

or

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.);

or

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the      NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard;

or

  • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.);

or

  • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.;

or

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed., (Special Education);

and

Must have obtained a degree or its equivalent with such Subjects or Languages in respect of which recruitment is made;

and

Pass in Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – II with relevant optional subject for direct recruitment:

Provided that the candidates possessing the educational qualifications prescribed in (i), (iv) and (vi) above shall be eligible for appointment as Graduate Teacher (Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography) to Classes VI to VIII:

Provided further that a person with a B.Ed. (Special Education) qualification shall undergo after appointment at National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized 6-month Special Programme in Elementary Education.

Provided further that a person with a B.A./B.Sc./B.Litt., and B.Ed., (Special Education) or Senior Diploma in Teaching for the Visually Impaired / Hearing Impaired is eligible for the selection only for the vacancies notified for the schools run by the Directorate for Welfare of the Differently Abled Department.

Note: No person shall be eligible for appointment to the posts unless he/she possesses the qualification as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Regulations from time to time.

As per Part III – Section 1(b) of Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu School Educational Subordinate Service, Section 48-A Annexure (Referred to in Rule 6 (b) (i)) T.N. Government Gazette No.36, Date.30.01.2020 and [G.O.(M.s.) No.13, School Education (S.E.3(1), 30.01.2020]

The Candidates should have obtained Graduate Degree (B.A./B.Sc). with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography as Major subjects obtained from a recognized University

  • The candidates not having prescribed educational qualifications, as on the date of Notification shall not  be eligible to apply.
  • The candidates should satisfy themselves  about  their eligibility criteria before applying.
  • It is to be noted that if a candidate is allowed to appear for the examination, it does not mean that the eligibility of the candidate is verified.
  • The eligibility of the candidate shall be verified by the Teachers Recruitment Board at the time of Certificate Verification only, if called for.

B.  Equivalence of Qualification:

Candidates claiming equivalence of educational qualification to the prescribed educational qualification should upload and submit evidence for their claim in the form of equivalence Government Orders (G.O.). Those who have applied for their equivalence Government Orders (G.O.) should submit their equivalence Government Order at the time of Certificate Verification (if called for) failing which their candidature will be summarily rejected after due process.

Qualification Criteria: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

  • Candidates who have obtained a Degree after undergoing a course of one year duration (Double Degrees / Dual Degrees, additional degree etc.,) are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
  • Candidates who have obtained any two or three of the required qualifications (SSLC, HSC, U.G. degree and B.Ed., degree) simultaneously are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
  • In cases where the Special Rules prescribe a Diploma or a Degree or a Post Graduate Degree as a qualification for appointment, then; –
  • a diploma obtained, after completion of S.S.L.C. or Higher Secondary Course [10+3 (3 Years Diploma)] or [10+2+2 (Lateral Entry)]; or A degree obtained, after completion of S.S.L.C. and Higher Secondary Course (10+2+3 or more) as per Explanation-I of Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.
  • The Candidates must have obtained a Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / a Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/ Higher Secondary and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/Higher Secondary and 4 – Year B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. / a Graduation and B.Ed., (Special Education) after completion of S.S.L.C., Higher Secondary Course or its equivalent (10+2+3+2 or 10+2+3+1 or 10+2+4 or 10+3+3+2 or 10+3+3+1 or 10+3+4) pattern as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016) and a B.Ed., degree from any University or Institution, recognized by the University Grants Commission.
  • The Candidates not having prescribed qualifications, as on the date of Notification shall not be eligible to apply for the examination. The Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility criteria before applying. All qualifying certificates including PSTM certificate should have been obtained on or before the last date for submission of filled in Online application announced in the recruitment notification.
  • Adequate knowledge of the official language of the State, namely, Tamil:
  • No person shall be eligible for appointment to any service by direct recruitment unless he/she has an adequate knowledge of official language of the State, namely, Tamil: Provided that a person, being otherwise qualified for appointment to the post to which recruitment is to be made, may apply for recruitment to the post, despite the fact that, at the time of such application, he/she does not possess an adequate knowledge of Tamil. If selected and appointed, such candidate should pass the Second-Class Language Test (Full – test) in Tamil conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, within a period of two years from the date of appointment failing which he/she will be discharged from service.

As per section 21 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.

(ii)    Compulsory Tamil language paper for recruitment: –

Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 21, on and from the 1st day of December 2021, any person who applies for recruitment to any post in any service by direct recruitment shall pass the Tamil language paper in the examination conducted for the recruitment with not less than forty percent (40%) of total marks.

HOW TO APPLY: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

  1. Candidates should read carefully “How to Apply” section given in the Notification / TRB’s website.
  2. Candidates should apply only through Online mode in the Teachers Recruitment     Board’s website: https://www.trb.tn.gov.in. No  other mode of application will be entertained. The application process is entirely Online.

A Valid e-mail id and Mobile Number of candidates are mandatory for registration and e-mail id should be kept active for any future correspondence.

  • Evidence for claims made by the candidates should be uploaded by the candidates at the time of Online Application itself. The same will be verified subsequently at the time of Certificate Verification, if called for.
  • All the particulars and documents mentioned in the Online application including name of the candidate, post applied for, subject applied for, communal reservation, date of birth, address and all other fields will be considered as final. The Candidates can make any changes (addition / deletion) if necessary, while filling the Online application before final submission. No Modifications will be allowed after the final submission of Online application. Since  certain  fields  are  mandatory and fixed which cannot be edited, candidates are requested to fill in the Online application form with utmost care and caution, as no correspondence regarding change of those particulars will be entertained at any cost.
  • Incomplete or defective applications shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.
  • The candidates  are  advised  to  exercise  due  diligence  at  the  time of filling the application. In case, if duplicate application of a candidate for the same subject is detected, Board will consider only the latest application, if it is in order.

UPLOADING THE DOCUMENTS / CERTIFICATES: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

Candidates should upload the required Documents / Certificates for proof in respect   of all the claims made in the application with reference to this Notification at the time of submission of Online application itself. If the following required Documents / Certificates are not uploaded by the Candidates, while applying, his / her application will be rejected after due process:

A.  Qualification Certificates:

The following Original Certificates and Mark Statements to be uploaded  in the portal along with the Online application:

  • 10th/ SSLC.
    • 12th/ Higher Secondary Course or its equivalent.

B.  Community Certificate:

Community Certificate should be obtained from the following authorities of Government of Tamil Nadu by the candidates for claiming Communal

reservation as the case may be.

  • ST – Revenue Divisional Officer (if the certificate is issued after 11.11.1989)
    • SC/SCA – Tahsildar of native taluk of the candidate.
    • BC, BCM and MBC/DNC–Headquarters Deputy Tahsildar or Special Deputy Tahsildar.
    • Community Certificate of Married  woman issued  with her Father’s name alone shall be accepted.
    • If the Community Certificate of the  married  woman  candidate  is issued               with              her              Husband’s               name, the woman candidate will be considered under General Turn (G.T) only.
    • Community certificates issued by any other State or Union Territory Authorities will not be considered against vacancies reserved for 69% communal reservation. They will be considered under  General  Turn (G.T) only.

C.  Persons  Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) Certificate:

For  the  post  of  GRADUATE  TEACHERS/   BLOCK RESOURCE TEACHER

EDUCATORS (BRTE), Candidate who claims reservation under Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) category has to submit Tamil Medium Study Certificate in the prescribed format (ANNEXURE I & II). As per G.O.(Ms.) No.82, Human Resource Management (S) Department,Dated 16.08.2021.

D.  Disability Certificate:

Candidates who claims the reservation under Differently abled category, has to upload an Identity Card and Passbook with Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

E. No Objection Certificate (N.O.C.)

Candidates who are in the service of the Indian Union or a State in India or in the employment of Local Bodies or  Universities,  or Quasi Government Organizations constituted under the authority of the Government of India or of a State in India whether in regular service or in a temporary service need not send their application through their Head of Department or Employer. Instead, they may directly apply to the Teachers Recruitment Board after duly informing their Employer in writing that they are applying for the particular recruitment and withthe condition that they should produce “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) in the form prescribed as  in Annexure III, from Head of the Department or  the  Appointing Authority at the time of  attending  the  Certificate  Verificationif called for.

Note :

  • Persons who get employment after the submission of their applications and before the receipt of intimation  admitting  them to the Certificate Verification / requiring them to produce original documents for verification should also produce the “No Objection Certificate”.
  • In case any Criminal / Disciplinary action is taken against any persons or if any punishment is imposed  against  such  persons after the production of “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) and before the actual appointment, such candidates should report this fact forthwith to the Teachers Recruitment Board indicating their Register Number. Any violation or failure to comply with these instructions will end in rejection of candidature.

F. Conduct Certificate from the Last Studied Institution:

Conduct Certificate is to be obtained from the Head of Institution in which he/she Last studied and uploaded. In case the candidate has studied the course through Correspondence, this fact should be stated along with necessary evidence. Such candidates should, however, upload the Conduct

Certificate obtained from the Institution where he / she had undergone the regular course of study before the correspondence studies.

G.  Character Certificate from a Gazetted Officer:

Character Certificate obtained prior to 3 months from the date of notification from a Gazetted Officer belonging to Group A or Group B duly mentioning the candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, address and period during which the Candidate’s is known to the Gazetted Officer (Minimum 2 years) should be produced at the time of Certificate Verification, if called for.

EXAMINATION FEE: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

The Examination fee is Rs.600/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and differently abled persons. For SC, SCA, ST and differently abled persons the examination fee is Rs. 300/- Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Category of Disability. Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded.

  • SMS alert regarding successful Payment will be sent to the registered mobile phone of the candidate.
  • Online payment to be made only through Payment Gateway. (Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card)
  • Offline mode of payment in any form such as Demand Draft /Postal order, etc. will not be accepted.
  • The candidates should also to pay the service charges as applicable for Online payment.
  • Failure to pay the prescribed fee in time, along with the Online application,will result in the rejection of application after due process.
  • Fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted for future test under any circumstances.
    • If a candidate pays the fee for more than one time, the amount will not be refunded.

Part – A: Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test: (Objective Type – OMR Based)

The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is a qualifying test only and it will be conducted in objective type consisting of 30 questions for 50 marks and the duration of examination will be 30 minutes as Part – A. This mark will not be considered for ranking.

  • Syllabus for Tamil language eligibility examination is of 10th standard level.
  • Minimum 40% of total marks in part – A examination (minimum qualifying marks) is eligible for the next level of evaluation of the main examination answer sheet.
  • The procedure will be followed as mentioned in the G.O.(Ms.) No. 49, Human Resources (M) Department, dated 23.05.2022 for exempting the differently abled candidates from the Compulsory Tamil Languageeligibility test.

The Candidates belonging to BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA &  ST should secure a minimum of 30% of total marks in written examination for eligibility.

A. Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test

The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is a qualifying test only and will be conducted as per the scheme of examination mentioned above.

B. Written Examination:

  • The  Date,  Time  and  Center  for the  OMR based  Written  Examination will be mentioned in the Hall Ticket. The Hall Ticket for the eligible candidates will be uploaded by the Teachers Recruitment Board in its website. The candidates are advised to refer to the Teachers Recruitment Board’s website for details (http://www.trb.tn.gov.in) and download the Hall Ticket.

No written communication will be sent to the candidates individually. The Hall ticket will not be sent to the candidates separately.

  • The participation of the candidates in the OMR based Examination is purely provisional and does not confer any acceptance of their claim in the application.
  • Scribes: Eligible Differently Abled candidates will be allowed assistance of scribes based on the claims made in the Online application and submission of Disability Certificate / Medical Board Certificate.

(iv)   Examination Results:

  1. Tentative Answer Key

Teachers Recruitment Board will publish the Tentative answer key in its website after the conduct of the examination.

b.  Objection Tracker

Any objections with regard to the Tentative answer key shall be raised through Online mode only within the prescribed time after publication of the Tentative answer key in the prescribed proforma available in the website. Objections can be raised in the dedicated link for a particular time only. Mail or / and written representations will not be entertained.

c.  Final Answer Key

The objections received from the candidates shall be finalized by the Subject Experts and Final answer key shall be hosted in the TRB’s website along with the examination result. No further objections on published Final answer key will be entertained. The decision of the   Teachers Recruitment Board in this regard shall be final.

d.  Publication of Written Examination Marks

The final written examination marks will be published in the TRB’s website and a Press release will be issued.

C.    Certificate Verification (C.V.):

  • The Certificate Verification (CV)  list  shall  be  scrutinized  based  on the claims made by the candidates in the Online applications and uploaded documents only.
    • The Certificate Verification (C.V.) list shall be prepared based on the written competitive examination marks (Part – B) and Weightage marks taken together and as per rule of reservation for appointment to the post drawn in the ratio of 1:1.25.

Calculation of Weightage Marks for TNTET (Paper II):

  • The weightage of marks shall be calculated by adding   0.5 mark for each year from the year of passing of the TNTET – Paper – II examination.
  • For example, for those who have passed the TNTET – Paper – II examination in the year 2012 considering the present stage (i.e. year 2023)

0.5 mark shall be added for 11 years hence 5.5 (11 years x 0.5) weightage marks shall be awarded.

  • For those who have passed the TNTET – Paper – II examination in the year 2013,5 weightage marks (10 years x 0.5) shall be awarded.
  • For those who have passed TNTET – Paper – II examination in the year 2019, 2 weightage marks (4 years x 0.5) shall be awarded.
  • Similarly, for those passed in 2022, 0.5 weightage mark (1 year x 0.5) shall be awarded
  • In case, if a Candidate has passed the TNTET – Paper – II examination for more than one year, then the earlier year of passing of TNTET – Paper – II examination with the specific optional subject for which subject the candidates applied for this recruitment shall be taken into account for considering and awarding of weightage marks.

The list  of  candidates provisionally  selected  will  be  published in the TRB’s website viz. https://www.trb.tn.gov.in The provisional selection of the candidates is subject to fulfilment of necessary eligibility criteria and the  decision  of  Teachers  Recruitment  Board  will be final. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT:

Candidates are warned that they should not furnish the false particulars/ false information or suppress any material information while filling the application form. Candidates are also warned that they should in no case attempt to alter or otherwise tamper with any entry in a document or submit details based on tampered/ fabricated document. If there is any inaccuracy or any discrepancy in the application form, the application will be rejected.

Without prejudice to criminal action/ debarment from writing TRB’s examination wherever necessary, candidature will be summarily rejected at any stage of the recruitment in respect of candidates found to have indulged inany of the following:

  1. In possession of mobile phone & accessories, Bluetooth devices and other electronic gadgets within the premises of the Examination centers, whether in use or in switched off mode and in person or otherwise.
    1. Involving in malpractices.
    1. Using unfair means in the examination hall.
    1. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification for selection.
    1. Impersonation/procuring impersonation by any person.
    1. Submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with.
    1. Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information.
    1. Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his/ her candidature for the examination.
  1. Misbehaving in any manner in the examination hall with the Supervisor, Invigilator or TRB’s representatives.
    1. Intimidating or causing bodily harm to the staff employed by the TRB for the conduct of examination.
    1. Candidature can also be cancelled at any stage of the examination for any other ground which the TRB considers to be sufficient cause for cancellation of candidature.

DECLARATION REGARDING CRIMINAL CASES (OR) DISCIPLINARY CASES:

  1. Candidates who have declared pending criminal or disciplinary cases in their Online application, must upload the copy of First Information Report (FIR) or memorandum of charges / show cause notice, as the case may be. Failure to upload such papers along with Online application, shall result in rejection of candidature after due process.
  2. Candidates who have declared conviction in criminal cases or punishment in disciplinary cases, in their Online application, must upload the relevant Court orders and/or release orders or memorandum of   proceedings, as the case may be, along with Online application. Failure to upload such papers, shall result in rejection of candidature after due process.
  • In case of any criminal case is filed / disciplinary action is taken against or conviction / punishment is imposed on a candidate after submission of the online application at any stage of the recruitment process before the completion of entire selection process such candidate should report this fact to the Teachers Recruitment Board in the next immediate stage. Failure to comply with these instructions and suppression of the above information shall result in rejection of candidature after due process and debarment for a period of one year.

GENERAL INFORMATION: TN TRB Recruitment 2023

  1. Candidates should ensure that they have their scanned recent colour passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG /PNG format  of  size  20-60 KB) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 KB) separately. The candidates have to upload their photo image and signature image while applying Online. The Online application uploaded without the candidate’s photograph and candidate’s signature will be summarily rejected. No correspondence in  this regard will be entertained.
  • A valid  e-mail id and  Mobile  Number of candidates are  mandatory for registration and e-mail id should be kept active as all the communications will be sent to the registered e-mail id only.
  • Candidates should avoid uploading of password protected copy of documents in which case applications shall be summarily rejected.
  • Candidates should avoid scanning the documents through mobiles as the documents uploaded are not clearly visible in majority of the cases.
  • Candidates are advised to check the filled in Online application along with the required scanned copy of documents as per sl.no 6 above before the final submission.
  • Candidates without the uploaded documents of 10th / SSLC Certificate, HSC Certificate or its equivalent, two year Diploma Elementary Education or both UG mark sheet & Degree certificate, both B.Ed mark sheet and Degree certificate, will be rejected.
  • In respect of recruitment to this post, the Candidates shall mandatorily upload the certificates / documents (in support of all the claims made/details furnished in the Online application Community Certificate, priority Certificates of PSTM / PWD and Transgender) at the time of submission of Online application itself. It shall be ensured by the Candidates that the Online application shall not be submitted without uploading the required Documents/certificates.
  • The onus is on the applicants to upload the softcopy of relevant documents. Any subsequent claim made thereafter on submission of Online application will not be entertained at any cost.
  1. The number of vacancies notified is only tentative and it is liable for modification with reference to vacancy position of user departments before finalization of provisional selection.

  • In the Process of recruitment, the decision of the Teachers Recruitment Board is final.
  • Online application can be submitted till the last date/time of submission of Application after which the link will be disabled.
  • All Candidates are instructed to go through the Sl.No.5  “How  to apply” carefully before filling in the Online application.
  • All the  particulars  mentioned  in  the  Online  application  will  be considered as final and no modifications will be allowed after the submission of the application. Once an application is submitted, no further request for change of details will be entertained. Hence, the applicants are instructed to fill  the  Online  application with utmost care and caution as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidate to prove that he is eligible for the particular post beyond doubt. The onus of proving qualifications, community, date of birth, other special reservation claimed, lies on the candidate only.

/ delay in delivery of SMS / email to the candidates due to any reason including technical issues. Any representation from the candidates for non-receipt of SMS or e-mail will not be entertained.
