1. POST: PROFESSOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Eligibility (A or B):
A.
i. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria of UGC/University (Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC guideline).
ii. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

B.
i. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years experience.

2. POST: CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
- At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in Academic level 12 and above including as an Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of Higher Education.
OR
15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

3. POST: LIBRARIAN
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
- At least 10 years as a Librarian at any level in a University Library or Ten (10) years of teaching as an Assistant / Associate Professor experience as a College Librarian.
- Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
- A Ph.D. degree in Library Science/ Documentation/archives and manuscript keeping.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
(a) The candidate must be a citizen of India.
(b) Interested candidates may download the application form from the University website www.sasu.ac.in and submit the application forms in hard copy and mail the soft copy at [email protected]
(c) Non- refundable Application Processing fee of Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees one thousand) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Registrar, Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University, Dibrugarh” payable at Dibrugarh for each post .
(d) Applicants are advised to submit soft copy of the application form alongwith the necessary documents for each post to the University via Email well in advance, without waiting for the last date so that the hard copy of the application form along with all required enclosures reaches the University well in time.
(e) The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him/her for being called for an interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of the academic score which may be higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by the duly constituted Screening Committee/ by the Competent Authority.
(f) Schedule of interviews for the above posts shall be notified at the University’s website www.sasu.ac.in. Call letters for attending interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by e-mail. No correspondence will be made with applicants who have not been shortlisted/not called for an interview.
(g) In case the University receives a large number ofapplications for a particular post, the University in such cases reserves the right to adopt stringent criteria for shortlisting candidates to be called for interview either by conducting a written test or adopting a marking system as approved by the Competent Authority.
(h) Self-attested copies of all educational qualifications ,mark sheets, age proof (such as birth certificate / 10th Admit Card ), caste certificate, etc should be attached with the application form and also with the soft copies alongwith enclosure number.
(i) The last date for submittion of application forms both through mail and hard copy is 30/10/2023.
(j) Applications will be considered on receipt of both hard and soft copies.
(k) Candidates should post the same to “The Recruitment Cell, Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University,2nd Floor, DICC Building, Near District Library, Dibrugarh, Assam -786003”. The envelope containing the application form should have inscribed “Application for the post of
………………”. No application will be entertained after the last date.
(l) The unsigned application without proper supporting documents will summarily be rejected.In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may arise due to incomplete applications and those received after the closing date shall be summarily rejected without making any reference to the candidates.
(m) After submitting the application form via mail, applicants who are already in service shall submit the printout of the completed application through the proper channel; in case his/her application is not forwarded due to whatever reason(s), he/she should produce a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ obtained from his/her employer at the time of the interview. Person on deputation may also be considered.
(n) Candidates should carefully read the teaching/research requirements of the relevant discipline and apply only if they have the requisite qualifications and experience. Those who do not meet the academic standards and requirements should not apply for the sake of applying
(o) Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate shall be treated as a disqualification which shall lead to cancellation of candidature.
(p) No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
(q) The University shall have the right to withdraw the advertisement of a particular post(s) or complete advertisement due to administrative reason(s).
