About the University and School
XIM University is a Jesuit Catholic university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It was authorized by the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2013, making it the first Jesuit university in India. The School of Economics is one of the schools of this University.
The School of Economics aims to provide students with broad-based knowledge, advanced technical, communication, and entrepreneurship skills. The school has a full-time, three-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Economics. The school also offers a full-time, two-year M.Sc. in Economics program
Program Highlights ICCIE 2022 is a conference that will be a forum for researchers and practitioners working in the development and application of frontier areas to share their ideas. This conference aims to build a network among academia.
It will also serve as a platform to develop the recent trends in contemporary issues in economics. This conference welcomes both theoretical and empirical papers from various branches of economics.
The conference will be held in a hybrid mode. Hence, the participants will be able to present their paper either virtually or physically at the University. However, we are not providing any travel and accommodation facilities and the respective costs.
But, we will provide lunch packet, snacks, and a conference kit only to the participants who will be presenting physically. Journal Tie-Up Participants in this Conference are invited to submit their papers for publication consideration in a SPECIAL ISSUE (December 2022) of the journal “STUDIES IN MICROECONOMICS” (SAGE).
All papers submitted for publication consideration in this special issue will undergo the journal’s standard review process.

Participants in this Conference are invited to submit their papers for publication consideration in a special issue (December 2022) of the journal Studies in Microeconomics (SAGE Publications; Scopus, ABDC, UGC-CARE listed). All papers submitted for publication consideration in this special issue will undergo the journal’s standard review process. The deadline for the receipt of papers for publication consideration in this special issue is July 15, 2022.
Full papers should be submitted through the journal’s submission site https:// peerreview.sagepub.com/MIC. When submitting their papers, authors should indicate that their submission is for the special issue of the International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics. This will ensure that the submission is handled by the appropriate Guest Editor(s).
Articles accepted for publication in this journal should be written in MS Word, Times New Roman font. Manuscripts should normally not exceed 6,000 words and should be submitted with the cover page bearing only the title of the article, author/s’ names, designations, official addresses, phone/fax numbers, and email addresses. Author/s’ name should not appear on any other page. All articles must be accompanied by an abstract of 150–200 words and 4–6 keywords.
