Kyle Mayers is a professional cricketer from Barbados. He was born on September 8, 1992, and made his debut for the Barbados cricket team in 2014. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
Mayers made his first-class debut in 2015 for the Barbados cricket team and has since played for various teams in domestic and international cricket. He made his debut in the West Indies’ international team in January 2021 in a Test match against Bangladesh.
Mayers made headlines in February 2021 when he scored an unbeaten 210 runs in the fourth innings of a Test match against Bangladesh, helping the West Indies win the match and the series. He became the first player in history to score a double century in the fourth innings of a Test match while chasing a target.
Mayers’ impressive performance in the Test match earned him widespread praise and recognition, and he was named the Player of the Match and the Player of the Series.
