Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up one (01) Research Associateship (RA) & one (01) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) sponsored by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India, in the research area of ” Perovskite/Lead-Free Perovskite/Double Perovskite/Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Solar Cells from Lab Scale to Large Area.“

A. ELIGIBILITY
1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) (One Post)
Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics/Electronic Science/Nanotechnology with National Eligibility Test (NET)/GATE in the relevant subject.
OR
ME/M.Tech. Naontechnology/Optoelectronics/Material Science/Polymer Technology/ Energy Science or any other relevant subject with National Eligibility Test (NET)/GATE.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years as on 03.10.2023, which is relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants as per Govt. of India rules & regulations.
Tenure
The above position is purely contractual and initially for a period of 1 year. The continuation of the fellowship is subjected to satisfactory performance and review at the end of the year. On satisfactory performance, the tenure of the fellowship may be further extended.
2. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA)
Essential Qualifications:
Ph.D. (awarded) in Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics/Electronic Science/Material Nanotechnology /Chemical Engineering with (Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics/Electronic Science/Material /Nanotechnology IChemical Engineering) at least 55% or equivalent grade.
OR
Ph.D. (submitted) in Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics/Electronic Science/Material Nanotechnology Chemical Engineering with (Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics/Electronic Science/Material /Nanotechnology /Chemical Engineering) with at least 55% marks are also eligible to apply. Selection in such cases will be subjected to the condition that PhD viva-voce done & declared qualified for award of PhD/awarded PhD degree within six months of selection.
The candidate applying for Research Associateship must have at least one research publication in standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
Age Limit:
The upper age limit for RA shall be 35 years as on 03.10.2023, which is relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants.

The candidates should carefully read these instructions before submitting the application.
1. The candidate must furnish about 500 words abstract of the R&D works he/she plans to pursue on the research topics proposed in the advertisement along with the application and detailed CV focusing research work (especially for the candidates applying for RA ship).
2. The candidates applying for RA are required to do a 5-10-minute presentation based on the proposed work and the work undertaken during the Ph.D.
3. Misrepresentation or hiding of facts, canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification/termination. No interim enquiries will be attended by the Institute.

5. The last date for application is Oct. 03, 2023.
6. No TA/DA or any claim will be reimbursed/paid to candidate for attending the interview.
