Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (On Contract)
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (on contract) in a research project titled “Design and Development of Computer-Aided Diagnostic Software to Localize and Grade Eye Diseases using Deep Learning and Transformer Approaches” in reference to the sanction letter for file number EEQ/2022/000775 dated 14 February 2023, by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology. New Delhi-110016.

Project Duration: Maximum three (03) years or date of completion of the project
Essential Qualifications:
(1) M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc./MS/B.E/B.Tech in (CSE/IT/ECE) and MUST have secured at least 65% cumulatively or equivalent CGPI in the qualifying degree. A 5% relaxation shall be applicable for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.
(ii) Candidates MUST have GATE Score/UGC/CSIR NET or JRF certificate. Desirable Skills: The applicant may be preferred if she/he has the knowledge of image processing, machine learning, deep learning and good programming skills in Python/MATLAB. Fellowship: 31,000/- PM (Fixed) for two years and 35,000/- PM (Fixed) for the third year. HRA: As per DST norms (If applicable).
Note: Candidate selected for this position may also apply for the regular Ph.D. program in the Department of Information Technology, provided he/she satisfies the eligibility criterion followed by the selection process laid down by the institute (IIITA).
