The Currency Note Press Nashik (Maharashtra) is one of the nine units under the “Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) a Miniratna Category-1 Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), a wholly owned by of Governmental of India, incorporated on 13th January, 2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 with the objective of designing, manufactunrig of Currency and Bank notes.

SPMCIL is under the administrative Control of Department of Economic Affairs Ministry of Finance with its Registered and Corporate Office at 16th Floor. Jawahar 1/year Bhawan. Janpath, New Delhi. The operational units of the Company are strategically located across the country having its four Mints at Mumbai. Kolkala, Hyderabad & Naida and four presses i.e. Currency and Security Prinl!ng Presses at Nashik, Dewas & Hyderabad besides a high quality paper manufacturing Mill at Narmadapuram.
