The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2022 exam on its official website ctet.nic.in.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results by visiting the website and entering their roll number. The CTET exam was conducted on December 18, 2022, in two sessions. The CTET certification is mandatory for candidates who wish to become teachers in government schools from class 1 to 8.

The CTET exam is conducted twice a year and consists of two papers. Paper-I is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 while Paper-II is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. Candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 8 must clear both papers.

The CTET exam assesses the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in schools affiliated with the CBSE. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is conducted in offline mode. The exam is conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Garo, Gujarati, Kannada, Khasi, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan, and Urdu.

Candidates who have cleared the CTET exam will be issued a certificate which will be valid for seven years. The CTET certificate is mandatory for candidates who wish to apply for teaching positions in schools affiliated with the CBSE. Candidates who have not cleared the CTET exam cannot apply for teaching positions in these schools.

How to Check CTET Result 2023?

Candidates who have appeared for the CTET exam can check their results by following the steps given below:

  1. Visit the official website of CBSE (https://www.cbse.gov.in/).
  2. Click on the “CTET” tab on the homepage.
  3. Click on the “CTET Result 2023” link.
  4. Enter your roll number and date of birth.
  5. Click on the “Submit” button.
  6. Your CTET Result 2023 will appear on the screen.
  7. Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
