Advertisement for the post of Senior Research Fellow under DST-SERB Core Research Grant
Applications are invited for the selection of one Senior Research Fellow for DST-SERB Core grant in the project entitled “Biomimetic Degradation of Thiocyanate Promoted by M(II)-Complexes (M = Cu, Ni, Co) in N/S/O/P Donors Ligand Platform” under the supervision of Dr. Kuntal Pal, Department of Chemistry, CU (PI).Date and time of interview: 9 ^ (th) April, 2024.
Qualification required: Calcutta University Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2024
M.Sc. in Chemistry from a reputed University with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) along with valid NET (L.S./JRF)/GATE qualified candidate will get preference). Experience in post MSc research project work as junior research fellow in the area of synthetic inorganic chemistry.
The candidate may also be encouraged to do PhD while working under this research project.
Age: 30 years (relaxation as per DST and Govt. norms).
Tenure: Initial appointment will be given for one year and is subjected to extendable up to maximum three years based on performance and availability of grant.
Remuneration: Rs. 35000/- 27% HRA per month.
