Eligibility Criteria: Assam University Ph.D Admission 2023-24
The following candidates candidates are eligible to seek admission to the Ph.D. programme as per AUS ordinance on Ph.D programme.
The candidates who have completed:
(a) (i) A 1-year/2-semester master’s degree programme in the same and allied subjects after a 4-year/ 8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme in the same and allied subjects after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree in the same and allied subjects by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point sacle wherever grading system is followed.
(ii) Or equivalent qualification from foreign educational institution accredited b ) Casement. and. accreditation” agency which is approved, recognized ot horond by an authority, established or incorporated under 3 law in the pective country o any other statutory authority i that country 10 asses, credit sare quality and standards of the educational institution
(iii) A relaxation of 5% marks or ts equivalent grade may be allowed for those longing 4 SC/ST/OBC (novcreamy layer) Differenty-Abled, Economical ny Scion (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of LGC om time to time.
