In pursuance of letter received from Higher & Technical Education Department, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi vide letter no.-4/वि०1-135/2016 (अंश)-285 dated 22.02.2024, the online applications through Chancellor Portal (www.jharkhanduniversities.nic.in/nicdhte241/) are invited for Need Based contractual appointment of teachers in the rank of Assistant Professor in the different subjects in University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Model & Women’s Colleges under the jurisdiction of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag against following roster wise sanctioned and vacant posts of this University.

Eligibility: Vinoba Bhave University Jobs 2024: Assistant Professor posts
As per UGC norms for Assistant Professor i.e.
- Master’s Degree in the subject concerned with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)
- NET/JET/SLET qualified or Ph.D.
As per the statutes by Department of Higher & Technical Education, Jharkhand vide letter no.-492 dated 24.02.2023 and amended vide letter no. 2589 dated 28.12.2023 (may be seen on the University website www.vbu.ac.in).
General Instruction: Vinoba Bhave University Jobs 2024: Assistant Professor posts
General instruction for applicants:
- This appointment will be on purely contractual basis and shall be valid till the Regular/Backlog appointment of Assistant Professor by the JPSC.
- The monthly remuneration for the above services will be as per Resolution No.-1040 dated 11.05.2023 of Department of Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Jharkhand.
- The application shall be submitted only through online, mode on the link available on official website of the University www.vbu.ac.in or the Chancellor’s Portal www.jharkhanduniversities.nic.in/home/recruitment.
- The application submitted/sent through other modes like e-mailspost or by hand shall not be accepted.
- Recent self-attested passport size photograph and signature of applicant shall be uploaded at the proper place of the application format.
- All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized Universities/ Institution in India and/or abroad and if grades are awarded instead of marks, applicant should clearly indicate their equivalent percentage.
- Print-out of online submitted application form alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (for General/EWS/OBC candidates) or Rs. 500/- (for ST/SC/PH candidates) made in favour of the Registrar, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, payable at Hazaribag and self-attested copies of all the relevant documents as mentioned below is to be sent to Registrar, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand- 825301 through speed post by 5:00 pm on 10.04.2024 Applications reaching the University after the scheduled date and time will not be entertained.
List of self-attested copy of the required documents to be submitted in the following order:
1. Print-out of the application form (submitted online)
3. Self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets (from matriculation onwards)
2. Demand Draft (Original)
4. NET/JET/JRF/Ph.D Certificate
5. Experience Certificate (if any)
6. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
7. Residential Certificate (if applicable)
8. EWS Certificate (if applicable)
9. Undertaking by the applicant (format available on the University website).
10. Others (if any)
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Selection will be done in accordance with the statutes notified by the Department of Higher & Technical Education, Jharkhand vide letter no.-492 dated 24.02.2023 and amended vide letter no.-2589 dated 28.12.2023.
