Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for appointment of one (01) Research Assistant on contract basis in the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi, sponsored Research Project entitled ‘Environmental Degradation, Famine and Spread of Disease: A Social History of Leprosy in South West Bengal, 1872-1956‘ under Dr Nirmal Kumar Mahato, (Principal Investigator), Associate Professor, Dept of History, Vidyasagar University, Midnapore-721102, India.

Essential Qualification: Vidyasagar University Recruitment 2023 Research Assistant Posts
Post Graduate degree in History with 60% marks from a University or Institute.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge about consulting archival documents. Candidates should have knowledge of environmental and medical history.
