Applications are invited from interested candidates for the following Positions for the Short-term Research Project purely on contractual basis.

Title of the Project: “An Empirical Study of Socio-Economic Impacts of Sukanya Samridhi Yojana: With reference to Northern and Eastern India”

Sponsoring Agency: Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi

1	Research Associate	One (for Uttar Pradesh)	Qualification – Post graduate in social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET /M.Phil/ Ph.D	Responsibilities: Lead research efforts, supervise research assistants and contribute to project development with report writing Skills Required: Knowledge of MS Office, Statistical Software (SPSS etc.), fluency in both Hindi & English language
2	Research Assistant	Two (One for Bihar and One for Himachal Pradesh)	Qualification-Ph.D./M.Phil./ Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55%	Responsibilities: Assist in research activities, coordination with Research Associate & field investigators, data collection and analysis in the respective states Skills Required: knowledge of MS Office for editing, classification of data, good communication skills with knowledge of Hindi, English and Regional languages of concerned state
3	Field Investigator	Five (for Bihar and Himachal Pradesh)	Qualification- Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55%	Responsibilities: Conduct field surveys, interview and data collection activities in the designated regions Skills Required: capable to collect primary data from rural and urban households and technical knowledge (MS office) for data entry, knowledge of Hindi, English and Regional languages of concerned state

Experienced candidates will be preferred. Remuneration as per ICSSR guidelines.
