Tata.ev unveiled its Punch EV on Wednesday, marking the debut of its new EV architecture, acti.ev. Priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 14.4 lakh for the top-end Long Range (LR) version, the Punch EV offers two battery packs. The 25 kWh battery provides a Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) range of 315 km, while the 35 kWh option extends the MIDC range to 421 km.
The vehicle comes with two motor options: a 60 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor producing 114 Nm torque and a 90 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor with 190 Nm of torque.

The Punch EV LR accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 140 km/h. The battery pack and motor are IP67 rated, with an 8-year or 1,60,000 km warranty.
The Punch EV LR offers a choice of a 3.3 kW and a 7.2 kW AC fast charger. Utilizing a 50 kW DC fast charger, it can charge from 10% to 80% in 56 minutes with DC fast charging.
Featuring distinct EV styling reminiscent of the new Nexon EV, the Punch EV includes a light bar and a charging indicator. The vehicle also incorporates a frunk storage space.
Inside, the Punch EV boasts a fresh design with two screens—an HD 26 cm Harman infotainment display and a 26 cm digital display.
Notable features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Arcade.ev app suite, ventilated leatherette seats, an electric sunroof, air purifier with AQI display, paddle shifters with 4-level Multi-Mode Regeneration, over-the-air software upgrades, auto headlamps, wireless charging, and more.
