Swami Dayanand Charitable Educational Foundation’s Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2023-24 aims to support financially constrained but academically exceptional students pursuing undergraduate programs in Indian universities.

  • Total Scholarships Available: 300
  • 50% Reservation for Girls
  • Scholarship Amounts: Up to INR 50,000/-
    • General Rank (NEET/JEE) 1 to 100: INR 50,000
    • General Rank (All other State Level Ranks and Non-Technical Courses) 1 to 100: INR 20,000
    • General Rank 100 to 500: INR 40,000
    • General Rank 500 to 2000: INR 30,000
  • The scholarship amount is directly transferred to the institute’s bank account.

Eligibility Criteria: SDEF Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2023-24

  • Available for all professional courses, including engineering, medical, architecture, and other undergraduate programs.
  • 75% or above marks in 12th grade or CGPA of at least 7.5.
  • Annual family income of less than 6 LPA.

  • 10th and 12th Marksheets/Certificates
  • Academic Marksheets for all semesters/term-wise scores
  • Seat Allotment Letter and Rank Letter
  • Copy of Fee Receipts
  • Copy of Scholarship Letter/Education Loan, if any
  • Residence Proof or Ration Card or Parent’s ID Proof
  • Copy of ID proof (valid document)
  • Family Income Proof (Salary Certificate/Salary Slip/IT Return Form)
  • Agricultural land documents/Pictures of the shop
  • Copy of Electricity Bill
  • Education Loan Proof, if any
  • Rent Agreement, if any
  • House Pictures – Inside and Outside (4 photos) & Family Photograph

  • The application process is online.
  • Applications will be accepted from 1st August 2023 to 31st October 2023.

  • All items in the application form must be completed. Write “N/A”, if the item is not applicable to you. We prefer the complete applications in selection process. We advise the students to complete the form as much as possible and attach all the required supporting documents.
  • The students can save and continue later their scholarship application. We have also enabled Browser autocomplete feature. 
  • Please provide contact details of your parents so that we can talk to them.

1. Family Income – Attach supporting documents along with income certificate. (for example salary slip, ITR, agriculture related documents, in case of farmers), pictures of shop (business), BPL card. 

2. Family expenditure – Please give complete details of all your family and study expenditure.
