Sainik School Kalikiri invites applications from eligible candidates for the following vacancies purely on contractual basis (period not exceeding one year): –

Desirable: (i) Teaching experience of two years in CBSE affiliated English Medium Schools, preferably residential. 2.	TGT (Social Science)	One Vacancy Contractual (OBC)	Essential: (A)Four years integrated degree course B.A,B.Ed Social Sciences of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject.   OR (i) The candidate should have studied any two subjects out of the following:   History with at least 50% marks in aggregate and one subject out of Geography/Economics/ Political Science. OR Geography with at least 50% marks in aggregate with History/ Economics/Political Science.   Geography/History should have been studied in all the year of graduation with at least 50% marks.In case of Hons Degree in History, the candidate should have studied Geography/ Economics/Political Science in first and / or second year of graduation with at least             50% marks in aggregate at graduation level. Similarly, in case of Geography “Hons” Degree  the candidate should have studied History/Economics/Political Science, in first and/or second year of graduation with at least 50% marks in Geography (Hons) and also 50% marks in aggregate at graduation level. AND (B) Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (TTET/STET/ APTET/CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE, for the purpose. (C) B.Ed. PTI-cum-Matron(Female candidates only)	One Vacancy Contractual (Unreserved)	Essential: Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports with at least 55% marks as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2009. OR Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 45% marks and participation in National or State or Inter- University competitions in sports or games or athletics recognized by Association of Indian University or Indian Olympic Association. OR Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National or State or Inter- University sports or games or athletics for deputed in-service candidates (i.e. trained Physical Education Teachers/Coaches) Graduation with 45% marks and at least 3 years of teaching experience as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2009. OR Graduate in Physical Education with 40% marks OR Graduate with Physical Education as an elective subject with 40% marks. OR Graduate who participated in school, Inter-Collegiate in sports/games or passed NCC ‘C’ Certificate in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007. OR Graduate in Physical Education i.e. B.P.Ed. Course (or it’s equivalent) of 3 years duration. OR Graduate having represented State/University in sports/games/athletics. OR Graduate who has secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter- Collegiate sports/games tournaments/possessing NCC ‘C’ Certificate or passed a basic course in Adventure Sports. OR Graduate with the one-year training programme in Sports Science Sports Management, Sports Journalism, etc. (in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start a new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2022. And (b) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) of at least one-year duration (or its equivalent) from any National Council for Teacher Education.   Desirable: (a) Working experience in residential schools as a Physical Education teacher. (b) Ability to teach in English medium  (c) Participation in State/National level sports events. (i) Should take care of cadets like a foster mother and discharge other duties & responsibilities as per the guidelines of the school. (ii) Attainments   in   sports/Art/Music (iii) Experience in handling children            in residential schools/hostels (iv) Adequate proficiency in working in a computer network office environment. (v) Preference to be given to those who possess a Degree/Diploma in Home Science or have done a dietitian’s course and have basic medical knowledge including first aid. (2) A recent Passport size photograph of the candidate, not more than 01 month older is to be affixed at the space provided with signature of the candidate.

(3) One self-addressed envelope duly affixing postal stamps worth Rs. 30/– to be submitted with the application.

(4) Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- for General/OBC Category and Rs.250/- for SC/ST Category as application fee (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Principal Sainik School Kalikiri payable at State Bank of India, Kalikiri Branch (Code: 016427) also to be forwarded with the application. The fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor would this fee be held in reserve for future examination/selection.

(5) Filled in application form along with the Demand Draft, self-addressed envelope, self-attested copies of certificates are to be forwarded by registered post/speed post to “The Principal, Sainik School Kalikiri, Annamayya Dist, Andhra Pradesh PIN: 517234”.  

Last date for receiving duly filled in applications is 06 Nov 2023. Super-scribe the envelope with the name of the post applied for.

Qualification and experience without relevant certificate proof will not be taken into consideration for the purpose of shortlisting or for awarding weightage.

General Instructions: Sainik School Kalikiri Recruitment 2023 PGT & TGT Posts

1. Shortlisted candidates will only be called for selection procedure after scrutiny, based on the essential qualifications. Certificates must be attached with the application in support of their qualification and experience, otherwise the same will not be considered at the time of scrutiny of applications.
2. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the selection procedure.
3. The above vacancies are only on contractual basis for one year and will not entitle to claim regular employment in this School later. Selected candidates should be ready to take up the responsibilities in a Residential School.
4. Applicants are to clearly mention their up-to-date email Id and mobile number. Please provide the correct Email ID and mobile number in the Application form to enable the school to communicate the date/schedule of the selection test at short notice. Information pertaining to selection will also be updated on the school website. The school administration is not responsible in case of the wrong email id/mobile number provided by the candidate and for not attending to the phone calls made by the school.
5. Candidates are to bring their original Id proof, certificates/documents in original (in support of their qualifications/experience as mentioned in the application) while reporting for the selection test, failing which their candidature will not be entertained.
