Research Staff in the ICSSR-Funded Research Project under ICSSR Special Call for the Studies on the Culture, History, and Geography of the Scheduled Tribes of India.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one post of Research Assistant to work on the following project funded bt the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) at the Department of Anthropology, Pondicherry University.
Title of the Project: Culture, Conservation and Indigenous Ecological Knowledge: A Study of the Sacred Groves of the Khasis of Meghalaya
Name of the Principal Investigator: Dr. Valerie Dkhar, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Anthropology, Pondicherry University
Duration: 22 months
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 16000/- per month
Minimum Qualification: Pondicherry University Recruitment 2023
Post-graduation in Anthropology or allied disipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Preference: M.Phil/PhD.
Desirable Qualifications:
Proficiency in MS Office and SPSS
Prior ethnographic fieldwork experience
Report writing skills in English
