OSSSC Recruitment 2023: Multipurpose Health Worker
‘The Advertisement No. IIE-04/2023-585 (C)/OSSSC, dt. 29.04.2023 for recruitment to the post of Multipurpose Health Worker(Female)-2023 is partially amended in pursuance of the order No. 21511/HFW, dt. 25.08.2023 of Health and Family Welfare Department, issued in the light of orders. passed by Hon’ble High Court in W.P.(C) Nos. 14731/2023 & 1507/2023 as described below.
Clause 1(i), 3(A)vi) and 7(iv) of the Advertisement No. IIE-04/2023-585 (COSSSC, dt 29.04.2023 are hereby deleted. Further the first sentence of the clause 11 of the said advertisement ie. “The Provisional Merit List and Select List shall be prepared district wise from amongst the candidates belonging to that districts only.” is also herby deleted.

The advertisement under reference is revised to the following extent:
1. All the candidates are eligible for the vacancies of the post for the whole state of Odisha irrespective of the districts to which the candidates may belong to.
2. The candidates who could not register/submit online application earlier are now allowed for registration/re-registration and submission of application irrespective of their place of birth or residence.
3. There is no need for a candidate to register her name in any employment exchange in the district concerned.
4. A provisional single Merit List shall be prepared in order of merit and Select List will be prepared on the basis of merit and choice of the candidates which will be taken at later stage.
Detail guidelines will be issued in this regard in due course.

Accordingly the Commission have been pleased to extend the last date for online registration/submission of online application as given below.
