Applications are invited for posts of Assistant Professors in the subjects: English Literature (01-0.B.C.), Geography (01-Unreserved), Sanskrit (01-0.B.C.) & Sociology (01-Unreserved) in the academic pay level 10 (Rs. 57700 ) 182400) of 7th CPC.

General Instructions: Jagat Taran Girls Degree College Recruitment 2023
(i) The candidate who wishes to apply for the advertised post, is required to download & fill application form with requisite application fee of Rs. 2000/– for General/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST.
(ii) The College reserves the right to withdraw any or all advertised post(s) or partial or full advertisement at any time without assigning any reason.
(iii) Only Matriculation/SSC Certificate/Admit Card/Passing Certificate issued by the concerned education board will be considered as proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted for verification of date of birth.
(iv) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS category must submit relevant certificates as per the proforma of Govt. of India.
(v) Candidates must ensure before applying that they are eligible according to the criteria stipulated in the advertisement. Concealment of any material, information or submitting false information will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage of recruitment.
(vi) Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement can be instituted only in Allahabad courts/tribunals/ forums.
(vii) The College reserves the right to Revise/Reschedule/Cancel/Suspend the recruitment process without assigning any reason. The decision of the Governing Body of the College shall be final and no appeal shall be entertained in this regard.
(viii) The candidate must attach self attested copies of all relevant testimonials/documents. The original certificates would be required at the time of interview only.
(ix) Applications not accompanied with prescribed fees and incomplete applications will be liable to be rejected.
(x) Candidates already employed and shortlisted for interview are required to produce the NOC from their organization. The employed candidate of Govt./Private Universities/Colleges/Autonomous bodies should submit the applications through proper channel. However, they may produce the NOC from their organization at the time of interview with a certificate that no vigilance enquiry is pending/being contemplated against him.
(xi) The decision of the competent authority, Jagat Taran Girls’ Degree College, Prayagraj in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection/interview will be final. No enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/ her agency.
(xii) Applications received without the requisite documents and after the prescribed date will not be entertained. Incomplete, unsigned applications and those not accompanied with copies of certificates and application fee will be summarily rejected.
(xiii) Canvassing in any form (political influence or otherwise) will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
(xiv) Candidates shortlisted for the interview will be informed through email and registered post. No TA/DA for attending interview will be admissible.
(xv) Minimum Educational Qualifications: All applicants must fulfill the essential qualifications of the post and other conditions stipulated in the UGC REGULATION ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES AND MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION 2018, as amended from time to time.
(xvi) List of self attested testimonials attached (original to be produced at the time of interview).
(xvii) The envelope must be superscribed as “Application for the post of Assistant Professor (Subject)”.
(xviii) Non-refundable Application fees in the form of Demand Draft from any nationalized bank should be drawn in favor of the Principal, Jagat Taran Girls’ Degree College, payable at Prayagraj.
(xix) The printed application form, complete in all respects along with other documents, demand draft etc. as required must reach to “The Principal, Jagat Taran Girls’ Degree College, 32, A. N.
