JRF for Project – In-situ Pollution Load Assessment…Strategies
A Walk-in-Interview will be held at the Seminar Room (4th Floor, Rabindra Bhaban) of the School of Water Resources Engineering, Jadavpur University on 23 November 2023 at 2 pm, for the recruitment of One (01) Junior Research fellow (JRF) under the project entitled ‘In-situ Pollution Load Assessment of an Ungauged River using Integrated Water Quality and Hydraulic Modelling to Improve Restoration Strategies, funded by DST-SERB under SURE Scheme, Govt. of India, vide Sanction Order No. SUR/2022/001557 under the supervisions of Dr. Subhasish Das (PI), Dr. Rajib Das (Co-PI) and Dr. Gourab Banerjee (Co-PI), School of Water Resources Engineering, Jadavpur University, as per details below:
Number of Posts: Junior Research Fellow – One (01)
Essential Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech. in Water Resources & Hydraulic Engineering with GATE.
Desired Qualification: Skill in performing Hydrodynamic modeling, handling water quality analysis using advanced instruments, and conducting field surveys.
Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as on the date of advertisement.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- HRA (as admissible) for the first 24 months and R 35,000/- HRA (as admissible) after the completion of 24 months.
Tenure of the Fellowship: Till the termination of the project or a maximum of up to 32 months whichever is earlier.
Relaxation on Qualification and Age: SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates will get relaxation as per Govt of India Rules.
Venue: Seminar Room of School of Water Resources Engineering, Jadavpur University located on the 4th Floor of Rabindra Bhaban.
