Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2024: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is accepting applications from eligible and desirous candidates to fill up 660 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-I/Executive, Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-II/Executive, Junior Intelligence Officer-I/Executive, Junior Intelligence Officer-II/Executive, Security Assistant/Executive, Junior Intelligence Officer-II/Tech, Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-II/Civil Works, Junior Intelligence Officer-I, Halwai Cum Cook, Caretaker, Personal Assistant, and Printing Press Operator.
Candidate should not exceed the age of 56 to apply for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2024.
Based on the official notification of Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2024, the appointment is made on a deputation basis for a period of 3 years.
The chosen candidates will get a monthly salary in Level 8 of the pay matrix of Rs. 47600–151100 as per the 7th CPC. Candidates must have the required educational qualifications to apply to Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2024 as mentioned below-
For Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-I/Executive-
Officers under the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces-
Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
With two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 7 (Rs. 44,900-142400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And
Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience-
The applicant must have a bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. And
The applicant must have 02 years of experience in security or intelligence work.
For Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-II/Executive-
Officers of the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces-
Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And
Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely-
Essential-
The applicant must have a Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. And
The applicant must have two years’ experience in security or intelligence work.
Desirable-
The applicant must have a knowledge of Computers.
For Junior Intelligence Officer-I/Executive-
Officers of the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence forces-
Essential-
The applicant must have a Matriculate or equivalent from a recognized board. And
Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 4 (Rs.25500- 81100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
For Junior Intelligence Officer-II/Executive-
Officers of the Central Police Organizations State Police Organizations or Defence forces-
Essential-
The applicant must have a Matriculate or equivalent from a recognized board. And
Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 3 (Rs. 21700 – 69100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
