Recruitment for the posts of Assistant Professors, Senior Residents and Casualty Medical Officers for Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalaburagi(including Trauma Care Center) under Local cadre (Kalyan Karnataka region).
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts i.e., Assistant Professor, Senior Residents and Casualty Medical Officers for Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalaburagi (including Trauma Care Center).
Candidates are advised to fill the application in the prescribed form and submit on or before 27-10-2023 5.00 PM to the office of the Director, Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalaburagi either inperson or through “Registered post”. The post and Department for which the candidate is applying must be written boldly on the cover in BLOCK LETTERS.
Application received after specified date and time will not be considered. Candidates appearing for the interview shall report to the office between 8.30 am to 11.00am on the day of interviewon 02-11-2023 to get their original documents / credentials verified and to appear before the selection committee along with original documents and 2 sets of photocopies duly attested by gazetted officer, with 2 recent passport size photographs.
Candidates are required to submit the application along with necessary documents and a DD for Rs.2000/-(for regular posts) & Rs.500/-(for contract posts) (Non refundable)drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR, GIMS Kalaburagi”.

REQUIREMENTS OF ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS, TEACHING AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE.
Qualification and Experience as per NMC norms is mandatory.

Must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. ii) Should have any one of the recognized postgraduate qualification i.e., MD /MS in the concerned subject or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act 1956. A.2 Emergency Medicine: MD/DNB(Emergency) Medicine)&As mentioned above . And the criteria s mentioned in NMC TEQ 2022 B- For Super specialty Departments: i) Must possess MBBS degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. ii) Should have any one of the recognized postgraduate qualification i.e., MD /MS in the concerned subject or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act 1956. iii. DM/MCh/DNB in the concerned subject | One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/ permitted medical college after acquiring MD/MS Degree. One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/ permitted medical college after acquiring MD/MS Degree. Special Training for three years in the respective new Super Specialty subject in a teaching Institution/Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty. |

DM/MCh/DNB in the concerned subject. | Senior Resident is one who is doing his/her residency in the concerned post graduate subject after obtaining PG degree/Diploma MD/MS/DNB/Dip.) This post of Senior Resident is a tenured position not exceeding 3 years. The graduate must be below 45years of age at the time of initial appointment. |

Academic qualification, teaching experience to be eligible for engagement is as per the “ Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2022” as amended and applicable as on date of interview to the respective posts of Assistant Professor , Senior Resident and CMO. The candidates possessing DNB qualification with regard to equivalence of teaching experience shall be as per the notifications issued by the National Medical Commission as Applicable.
