Applications are invited from intending eligible candidates who are the citizens of India as defined in article 5 to 8 of the constitution of India in online mode having registration number in Employment exchange in the state of Assam for filling up the vacancies of the post of Scientific Assistant in the Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam

Eligibility Criteria for all the posts prescribed above:
i) The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a Permanent Resident of Assam
ii) The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 40 years of age on 1.1.2023 (5 Years relaxation for STP/SC/STH and 3 Years relaxation for OBC/ MOBC).
The Rules & Regulations/Notifications/Orders issued by the Govt. of Assam from time to time will prevail in case of any discrepancy.
How to Apply:
i) Candidates have to apply in prescribed form through online mode only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
ii) All original documents must be produced at the time of interview for physical verification. If documents are found to be not in order, the application of the candidate will be rejected.
iii) Instructions for filling up the prescribed online form will be available in website http://niyukti.assam.gov.in/forensic_sa
iv) Before applying online, candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions provided in the above website. Candidates are required to upload a latest passport size photograph, photocopy of the Admit Card/Certificate of HSLC Examination(for age proof), Mark sheets of Graduation and Post-Graduation along with Analytical/Research Experience Certificate (if available), Scanned signature and Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidate). No documents ie. the hard copy of the online application form, registration slip, etc. are required to be sent to the Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam.
v) Online submission of application will be accepted from 09/09/2023 and continue till 10pm on 30/09/2023
vi) The admit cards will be available for download from 07/10/2023 till the date of the written examination in the website http://niyukti.assam.gov.in/forensic_sa
vii) The date of interview will be notified later on in the website http://niyukti.assam.gov.in/forensic_sa
- The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear both in written test and skill test(Only for those who qualified in the written test)
- Date of examination will be announced in due course
