Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up following posts of Special Educators on regular basis as per following details:-

* Reservation for benchmark disabilities as defined in area of Education (teaching) vide Gazette of India, Ministry of Social Justice, and Empowerment (Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) notification no.38-16/2020-DD-III dated 04th January 2021 will be followed.
** Candidates appointed against PWD & ESM quota will consume the posts from the respective category to which they belong i.e.
GEN/SC/OBC
Instructions regarding reservation of SC/OBC category issued by the Govt. of India & Department of Personnel Chandigarh Administration will be followed. Copy of instructions is available on Website https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/. Under OBC category, candidates of those castes will be given benefits which are included in Union Territory, Chandigarh list.
PAY SCALE:
The Pay scale for the post of Special Educator (TGT) is Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs 4600 and for the post of Special Educator (JBT) is Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200 notified by Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department (Accounts Branch) vide notification no. 7000/15/8-F&PO(7)/2023/4354 dated 29.02.2023.
i) Applications can be submitted only ‘ONLINE from 20.09.2023 (11.00 AM onwards) to 12.10.2023 (upto 5.00 PM) with non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC candidates). However, last date to deposit the fee is 16.10.2023 (upto 02.00 PM). Persons with disability are exempted for payment of fee as per instructions issued by Govt. of India,
ii) Candidates are required to click “Recruitments” on the website L.e. https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/ to submit the application.
iii) Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test. One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted. Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.
iv) All the notices and updates will be uploaded on the website https://www.choeducation.gov.in/. As such, candidates are advised to visit the website on regular basis.
v) The number of vacancies advertised may vary as per requirement.
