The ARIAS Society invites applications for the following purely temporary contractual positions to be positioned under the World Bank financed Assam Agribusiness & Rural Transformation Project (APART).
The interested eligible candidates who are citizens of India as defined under the Constitution of India and fulfill the required qualifications, experience and age as cited in brief below, may apply accordingly.

PGDM/MBA (Finance) from any recognized university or college in India or abroad, as a regularly enrolled student (excluding studies in distance education mode); or qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI or qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) from ICMAI. Working Experience: At least seven years of experience, with more than five years of experience in government and public sector specially in Finance, Budget, Project Management functions. At least 2 years of experience of working either directly or in close coordination with multilateral donor agencies/ financial institutions/ commercial banks/ financial regulatory bodies. Should have good knowledge on of preparing PPRs, Concept Notes, Accounting and Financial Reports, Budgets statements, Impact ful PPT presentations, preparatory activities for Government projects posed for funding by multi lateral donor agencies/ Commercial banks. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and working knowledge of Assamese are required and should be equipped in MS Office 365, Google Suite and other internet-based cloud applications and related tools. Working Experience: At least seven years of experience, with more than 5 years of experience in government and public sector. Experience of preparing PPRs, Concept Notes, preparatory activities for Government projects posed for funding by multilateral donor agencies/ Commercial banks (as a regular employee or consultant). Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and working knowledge of Assamese are required and should have knowledge in MS Office and other applications. Excellent communication skills, drafting skills and good working knowledge of computers. Other General conditions for interview: ARIAS Society Recruitment 2023 Project Consultant Posts
- The candidates shall have to bring all the original certificates/documents along with a set of self-attested copies of the same, for the interview, if shortlisted. The Originals will be returned after corroboration with the self-attested copies to be brought by the candidates. If at any stage, it is found that information furnished in the application or supporting documents is misleading/ misrepresented/ incomplete/false, candidature shall be liable for cancellation.
- Only Shortlisted candidates will be intimated and called for Interview/test. The Interview/test may be conducted through online mode depending upon COVID-19 situation.
- The maximum Cost to Project (CTP), within the above indicative range, will be fixed based on (a) as per the respective Terms of References (ToR) and (ii) performance in the interview.
- The State Project Director, ARIAS Society reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or scrap any or all of the positions.
- In case, sufficient candidates with requisite experience in the field cited above are not available, the ARIAS Society may shortlisted candidates having lesser years of experience for the interview/test; However, if selected they will be offered a lower CTP.
