Walk in interview is going to be held at The Asiatic Society, 1, Park Street, Kolkata-16 on 29th January 2024 from 11.00 a.m. onwards.

Essential qualification: Walk in Interview under MRC, The Asiatic Society
a) Master Degree in Sanskrit language with at least 55% marks and command over Bengali and English language.
b) Basic Computer Knowledge.
Desirable qualification:
a) Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Manuscriptology & Paleography.
b) Expertise in reading Manuscripts, subjects covered etc. and online cataloging.
Duration: Walk in Interview under MRC, The Asiatic Society
06 months on purely temporary basis.
Remuneration: Walk in Interview under MRC, The Asiatic Society
Rs. 150.00 (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) for each published manus-data on pro-rata basis as per stipulation of National Mission for Manuscrit.
Interested candidates are required to report on 29th January within 10:45 a.m. along with original and one set photocopy of all testimonials, experience certificate (if any), one recent passport size photograph etc.
No TA/ DA will be admissible for attending the Interview.
