University of Burdwan Recruitment 2023: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Application in prescribed form available at University sales counter on payment of Rs. 250/- are invited from the candidates for recruitment of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB, DST, Govt. of India sponsored research project entitled “Modeling redox landscape and identification of candidate hub genes regulating drought stress induced physiology of flag leaves and kernel aroma quality (2-acetyl-1- pyrroline) in indigenous aromatic rice cultivars of Rarh West Bengal“.
Essential Qualification:
A good M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in Botany or any branch of Life Science with CSIR-UGC NET-LS /GATE qualification.
Desirable qualification:
Working experience in Plant Physiology & Molecular Biology related projects.

Age limit:
Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule)
Fellowship:
@Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (@8% per month) for 1st and 2nd years
@Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA ((@8% per month) for the 3rd year
Tenure: 3 years or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier
