The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 to cater to the educational needs of the meritorious rural youth of Andhra Pradesh. Every year 1100 students per campus are admitted into 2 year Pre University Course (PUC) leading to 4 year B.Tech program.
RGUKT has its constituent campuses in the following locations:
- Nuzvid, Eluru District
- RK Valley, Kadapa District
- Etcherla, Srikakulam District
- Ongole, Prakasam District
RGUKT invites applications from eligible candidates in the following cadres of teaching positions on purely temporary contract basis in the below mentioned disciplines initially for one semester, extendable for another semester based on the work load requirement as per university norms or till the regular faculty recruitment is completed whichever is earlier. Guest Faculty who worked/working with RGUKT may also apply, if interested.
- Lecturer (Contract) – for two year PUC program
- Assistant Professor (Contract) – for four year B.Tech program

Period of Contract: RGUKT Recruitment 2024 Lecturer & Assistant Professor posts
The faculty positions are purely temporary. The term of appointment will be initially for one semester, extendable for another semester based on the work load requirement as per university norms or till the regular faculty recruitment is completed whichever is earlier.
Compensation: RGUKT Recruitment 2024 Lecturer & Assistant Professor posts
The faculty recruited will be paid a monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 35,000/- (For Assistant Professor (contract)) and Rs. 33,000/- (For Lecturer (contract)) without any allowances. Additionally, an amount of Rs.5000 will be paid to those who possesses Ph.D. qualification and eligible as per G.O Rt. No. 110, Higher Education (UE) Department, dated 06-07-2022.

Applicants must have passed P.G. Degree (M.A. or M.Sc., or M.Com.) in the relevant subject/language with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in P.G. Degree Examination from any recognized University.

Qualifications:
Engineering Subjects: B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant subjects with first class either in UG or PG
Other Subjects: P.G with 55% marks and (NET/SET or Ph.D.)
