NOTE: One can apply for one post at a time as per given criteria. If you are not eligible as per the advertised criteria, your candidature will be not accepted.

JVM Staff Recruitment 2024

1. PGT (Biology): One Post

Nature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation). Essential qualification and experience:

(a) Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Botany/Zoology and Graduation with Botany/Zoology as Hons. subject with B.Ed from any recognized University. Applicant must have secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Post Graduation and B.Ed.

(b) Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE.

(c) Age- Maximum 40 years as on the ‘Date Mentioned in Advertisement with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the subject for which the vacancy is advertized (Note- Age relaxation of maximum 5 years may be provided at the discretion of JVM school management to exceptionally deserving candidates applying against the vacancy. Candidates seeking relaxation in age criteria shall necessarily provide proof of additional teaching experience of 1 year (beyond the minimum 3 years mandatory experience) for the advertized subject for each additional year of Age relaxation sought. Applicant’s candidature shall not be accepted in case his/her age exceeds 45 years, even by a single day, on the date mentioned in the advertisement).

(d) Ph. D/Doctoral Degree for relevant subject will be preferred.

2. PGT (Political Science): One PostNature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation). Essential qualification and experience:

(a) Post Graduate Degree (M.A) in Political Science and Graduation with Political Science as Hons. subject with B.Ed. from any recognized University. Applicant must have secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Post Graduation and B.Ed.

(b) Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE.

Candidates seeking relaxation in age criteria shall necessarily provide proof of additional teaching experience of 1 year (beyond the minimum 3 years mandatory experience) for the advertized subject for each additional year of Age relaxation sought.

Applicant’s candidature shall not be accepted in case his/ her age exceeds 45 years, even by a single day, on the date mentioned in the advertisement).

(d) Ph. D/Doctoral Degree for relevant subject will be preferred.

PGT (ECONOMICS): Two Posts

Nature of appointment-On Regular Basis (with one year probation),

Essential qualification and experience:

(a) Post Graduate Degree (M.A) in Economics and Graduation with Economics as Hons, subject with B.Ed. from any recognized University. Applicant must have secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Post Graduation and B.Ed

(b) Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE

(c) Age- Maximum 40 years as on the Date Mentioned in Advertisement with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the subject for which the vacancy is advertized (Note- Age relaxation of maximum 5 years may be provided at the discretion of JVM school management to exceptionally deserving candidates applying against the vacancy. Physical Education Female Teacher: One Post-PGT(PHE)

Nature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation). Essential Qualification and experience:

(a) M.P.Ed. from any recognized University having secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Post Graduation.

(b) Age Maximum 40 years as on the Date Mentioned in Advertisement with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the subject for which the vacancy is advertized (Note- Age relaxation of maximum 5 years may be provided at the discretion of JVM school management to exceptionally deserving candidates applying against the vacancy. Candidates seeking relaxation in age criteria shall necessarily provide proof of additional teaching experience of 1 year (beyond the minimum 3 years mandatory experience) for the advertized subject for each additional year of Age relaxation sought. (c) Should have participated in State, National and International level Athletics/Sports Event (proof of participation is required)

(d) Should have proficiency to teach & train students in Athletics, Aerobics, Yoga, NCC, and Drill for participation in state and national level Sports/Event.

(e) Certification in Yoga/NCC/Physiotherapy/ Fitness instructor will be preferred.

(1) Ph. D/Doctoral Degree for relevant subject will be preferred.

TGT (Maths): One Post

Nature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation). Essential qualification and experience:

(a) Post Graduate with Maths as Hons. subject with B.Ed. from any recognized University. Applicant must have secured with minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Graduation and B.Ed.

(b) Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE.

PRT (English): One Post Nature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation). Essential Qualification and experience:

(a) B.A. with English as Hons. Subject and B.Ed. from any recognized University; having secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Graduation and B.Ed.

(b) Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE.

(c) Age- Maximum upto 40 years as on the ‘Date Mentioned in Advertisement, Experience-Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as PRT (English) in Primary/Secondary level from any recognized School/s. No Age Relaxation is admissible for this post.

(d) Post Graduate Degree (M.A.) in English will be preferred.

PRT (Hindi): One Post Nature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation). Essential Qualification and experience:

(a) B.A. with Hindi as Hons. Subject and B.Ed. from any recognized University; having secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Graduation and B.Ed.

(b) Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE.

(c) Age- Maximum upto 40 years as on the ‘Date Mentioned in Advertisement, Experience-Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as PRT (Hindi) in Primary/Secondary level from any recognized School/s. No Age Relaxation is admissible for this post.

(d) Post Graduate Degree (M.A.) in Hindi will be preferred.

PRT (Sanskrit): One Post

Nature of appointment- On Regular Basis (with one year probation).

Essential Qualification and experience:

(a) B.A. with Sanskrit as Hons. subject and B.Ed. from any recognized University, having secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Graduation and B.Ed…

(b) Age- Maximum upto 40 years as on the ‘Date Mentioned in Advertisement, Experience-Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as PRT (Sanskrit) subject in Primary/Secondary level from any recognized School/s. No Age Relaxation is admissible for this post.

(d) Post Graduate Degree (M.A.) in Sanskrit will be preferred.

Physical Education Female Teacher: One Post-PRT(PET)

Nature of appointment On Regular Basis (with one year probation)

Essential Qualification and experience:

(a) B.P.Ed. from any recognized University having secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Graduation.

(b) Age- Maximum upto 40 years as on the Date Mentioned in Advertisement, Experience-Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as Physical Education teacher at school level from any recognized English Medium School/s. No Age Relaxation is admissible for this post.

c) Should have participated in State, National and International level Athletics/Sports Event (proof of participation is ( required)

(c) Should have proficiency to teach in Athletics, Aerobics, Yoga, NCC, and Drill. Train students during participation in state and national level sports.

(d) Certification in Yoga/NCC/Physiotherapy/ Fitness Instructor will be preferred.

(e) M.P. Ed degree will be preferred.

Primary Mother Teacher (Female): Five Post’s

Nature of appointment On Contractual Basis of one year, which may be renewed based on satisfactory performance

Essential Qualification and experience:

(a) Graduate in any discipline with B. Ed. Must have secured minimum 50% marks in all examinations from Secondary to Graduation.

(b) Age- Maximum upto 40 years as on the ‘Date Mentioned in Advertisement. Experience-Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as Mother Teacher in Pre-Primary Section from any recognized English Medium School/s. No Age Relaxation is admissible for this post

(c) Should have- (a). Experience of teaching in activity based environment. (b.) Knowledge of Montessori teaching principles. (c). Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.(d) The ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things. (e) The ability to work well with others

Pay And Perks:

Applicable as per 7th Central Pay Matrix of the Govt. of India, D.A and other fringe benefits will be applicable as per service rules of the JVM Shyamali. Approx Gross Salary for the Regular & Consolidate Contractual Teaching staff is as follows:-

PGT-Level: 08 Total emolument comes to Rs. 72,124/-

TGT-Level: 07 Total emolument comes to Rs. 68,182/-

PRT-Level: 06 Total emolument comes to Rs. 54,312/-

Primary Mother Teacher- On Contract with Consolidated Salary of Rs. 30,000/-only.

Other Essential Criteria:

Experience for minimum no. of years as indicated in respective posts will be calculated as on Date Mentioned in the Advertisement.
Experience Certificate and other Educational Certificates have to be submitted with self attestation for subsequent verification & completion of credentials

Qualified in the Central Eligibility Test conducted by Govt. of India (applicable against all advertised vacancy except PGT(PHE), PRT(PHE) & Pre-Primary Mother Teacher.)

Must have proficiency to teach in English.

Basic computer knowledge is essential

Should have knowledge of handling ERP Solution, working in Ms Word, Ms Excel, etc

Note-

School Management Committee reserves the right to relax any advertised criteria for exceptionally

qualified candidates School Management Committee reserves the right to amend or cancel any post/candidature at any point of time during the recruitment procedure.

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) is to be paid in form of Demand Draft from any nationalized bank, in favour of Jawahar Vidya Mandir, payable at Ranchi.

Candidates have to print filled Google Form and send the duly filled Google form after affixing a recent passport size photograph alongwith self attested copies of all the certificates (Including Experience Certificate as on date mentioned in advertisement) and testimonials in support of his/her application and Demand Draft by Registered Post/courier/Speed Post to “THE PRINCIPAL, JAWAHAR VIDYA MANDIR, SHYAMALI, P.O. DORANDA, RANCHI 834002 (JHARKHAND)“. The envelope containing the application shall be superscripted as “Application for the post of JVM Shyamali“. The duly filled application form complete in all respect should reach to above mentioned address on or before 24.02.2024 by 2.00 PM. Forms not received at the designated address or received beyond the date & time specified above will not be accepted.
Kindly fill the Google Form with complete correct details in the given link https://forms.gle/NN9C6yyaGluyHKjib and also upload & send scanned copy of the duly filled Google Form with photograph pasted also to the sent to [email protected]. IT IS MANDATORY.
Applicants shall ensure that all their testimonials, duly self attested, are scanned and uploaded. No further opportunity shall be provided for submitting additional testimonials.

Selection Procedure:

1) Written Test will be conducted for the qualified candidates as per advertised eligibility criteria.

2) Those who qualify in the Written Test will be called for Class demonstration (applicable for PGTS/TGTS/PRTs/Primary Mother Teacher) and Personal Interview for all the above posts. Except for Physical Education Teachers Field Aptitude Test’ shall also be conducted followed by Personal Interview.

3) Qualifiers of written test will be communicated through email/ telephonic communication.

4) No queries will be entertained over phone regarding selection process.

GENERAL CONDITION:

All Candidates have to submit the proof of teaching experience, which must be falling within 10 years before the date of advertisement.
Internal JVM staff members may also apply for above anyone post, if they are eligible as per given criteria and has completed at least 03 years of service from the date of confirmation and also meet Age and other specified Eligibility/ qualification criteria specified in the Advertisement.
Addition/Deletion of any post/s or Cancellation of any candidature or Entire Recruitment process are vested in the hands of the School Management at any time during selection process without notification.
Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidature.
For Experience Criteria, experience related documents (Experience Certificate/Appointment letter/ last year Salary Slip) should be submitted as per the minimum experience required, failing which his/her experience will not be counted.
Selected candidates will be on one year probation period from the date joining and he/she may be regularized as per their performance.
NTT applicants (Mother Teacher) who applied last year (Advertisement 2023) need to apply a fresh application for Primary Mother Teacher post as per the advertised criteria. They are however, exempted from submission of application fee provided. They mention DD no. furnished along with their application submitted as per the previous advertisement in 2023 in Google form, failing which a fresh Demand Draft to be submitted.
No TA/DA will be applicable for the candidates appearing in written test, class demonstration & interview,
