Online Application is invited for Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT)-2023.
The desirous eligible Indian Citizens having Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in the UGC-7 Point scale or an equivalent grade as applicable in a point scale wherever grading system is followed, and a relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade will be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / EBC / BC / EWS / Differently-abled categories may apply for the Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT)-2023.
Application form for PAT-2023 Examination will be floated online on the University website – ipvadmission.org and the candidates will fill up the forms from 19.08.2023 to 27.08.2023 till 11.59 PM.
The applicants need to submit the application forms along with the self-attested xerox copies of the requisite documents.
The hard copy of online submitted application form with all requisite documents must be submitted by hand or through registered post latest by 31.08.2023 till 4.00.PM in the office of Ph.D. section of J.P. University. Chapra, Bihar.
The Syllabus of PG based on CBCS (excluding elective papers) for PAT-23 is uploaded on the above website.

Guidelines For The Candidates: Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala
Eligibility for Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT)-2023
a. Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7- point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
b. A relaxation of 5% of marks, i.e., from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, will be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/EWS/ Differently-abled categories of candidates.
c. A candidate shall ordinarily be permitted to pursue research for the Ph.D. degree in the subject in which he/she holds a Master’s degree.
