Online applications for direct admission to Ph.D. Programme (without Entrance Test) for the session 2023-2024 in the University Teaching Departments/ Institutes are invited from the eligible candidates who have qualified UGC NET (JRF)/ UGC-CSIR (JRF) / NFSC, NFST/ MAULANA AZAD FELLOWSHIP/ INSPIRE/ SPONSORED BY ICSSR/ DBT-JRF, ICMR or ANY OTHER DEPARTMENT OF GOVT. OF INDIA.
Online form should be submitted on or before 25.11.2023.
The request for change of category once opted/filled in the application form after last date of application notified by the University will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Eligibility: Himachal Pradesh University PhD Admission 2023-24
Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalant to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalant grade ‘B’ in the UGC-7 point scale (or equivalant grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalant degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accreding or assuring quality and atandards of educational institutions.
