Online applications through Chancellor Portal (www.jharkhanduniversities.nic.in) are invited from the Interested and eligible candidates for the appointment of Need Based Assistant Professor in the subjects listed below.
The appointment will be on purely contractual basis and shall be valid till the regular/backlog appointment of the Assistant Professor by JPSC.

1. Horizontal Reservation will be given as per the policy of Jharkhand Government
2. For Foreign Language, Candidates having Post-Graduate degree in the following subjects will only be considered.
- French Language
- German Language
- Japanese Language
Eligibility: BBMKU Recruitment 2024: Assistant Professor Posts
- Master’s Degree in the subject concerned with minimum 55% marks, and
- NET/JET qualified or having Ph.D. Degree.
As per the statutes notified by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Jharkhand vide Resolution No. 492 dated 24.02.2023 and Resolution No. 2589 dated 28.12.2023.
General Instructions for Applicants
- This selection will be purely on contractual basis and shall be valid till the regular/ backlog appointment of Assistant Professors by JPSC.
- The monthly remuneration for the above services will be as per Resolution No. 1040 dated 11.05.2023 of Department of Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Jharkhand.
- The application shall only be submitted online through the link available on the official website of University (www.bbmku.ac.in) or, the Chancellor Portal (www.jharkhanduniversities.nic.in)
- The application submitted/sent through other modes like e-mail, post or, by hand shall be treated as invalid.
- Recent self-attested passport size photograph and signature of applicant shall be uploaded at the proper place of the application format.
- All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institution in India and/or abroad and if grades are awarded instead of marks, applicant should clearly indicate their equivalent percentage.
- Interested candidates are required to apply through online (www.jharkhanduniversities.nic.in } with application fee of Rs. 1000/- (For General/EWS/OBC) and Rs.500/- (For SC/ST/PH) in the form of DD in favour of “Registrar, Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University” payable at Dhanbad.
- Print-out of online submitted form along with D.D and self-attested copy of all the relevant documents as mentioned below be submitted to the office of the undersigned through registered/speed post only by 10.03.2024 till 5.00 PM.
List of self-attested copy of the required documents to be submitted in the following order.
- Print-out of the application form (submitted online)
- Demand Draft (Original)
- Educational certificates and mark sheets (from matriculation onwards)
- NET/JET/JRF certificate (if applicable)
- Experience Certificate (if any)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Residential certificate (if applicable)
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Other (if any)
Eligible candidate will be shortlisted for interview. Selection will be done in accordance with the statutes notified by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Jharkhand vide Resolution No. 492 dated 24.02.2023 and Resolution No. 2589 dated 28.12.2023.
Reservation policy will be followed as per the Jharkhand State Government rules..
