NET/SET/GATE qualified candidates in the allied subjects are eligible to apply.

Areas of Research Proposal:

Agricultural Extension, Rural Health. Socio-Economic-Cultural Perspective of Rural India, Folk Culture, Rural Art and Craft, Rural Tourism.

Environmental Perspective.

Disaster Studies, Tribes in India, Livelihood issues, Land Policy, Globalization & Rural Development, Rural Transformation. Rural-Urban Interaction and Peri-Urbanization.

Candidates who want to submit the application fee in the form of draft must note that it should be payable in favour “West Bengal State University”.
