However, an arrangement has been made to allow them to participate in media conferences by sending their questions to an ICC media manager on WhatsApp

These questions will then be posed to the Pakistan representative attending the conference.

The Pakistan team is scheduled to play against Sri Lanka in their second match in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Before the match, the team will hold a training session at the Gymkhana Ground on Monday afternoon, followed by a press interaction at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed its disappointment to the ICC regarding the delay in issuing visas for Pakistani journalists and fans who want to cover Pakistan's opening game in the ICC World Cup.

The PCB emphasized the importance of journalists and passionate fans in enhancing the spirit and atmosphere of sports events.

The ICC responded by stating that they are aware of the situation and are working diligently with the Indian authorities to resolve the visa issue.

They assured their full support to ensure that Pakistani journalists and fans can cover the event as soon as possible.

This situation highlights the importance of facilitating media coverage and fan participation in international sporting events to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
