PH.D. ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR JANUARY 2025 SESSION (THROUGH CSIR-UGC NET 2024/UGC-NET 2024)
University of Hyderabad, an Institution of Eminence, listed in Category-II of UGC (Categorization of Universities for grant of graded autonomy) Regulations 2018, with NAAC grading of 3.28 out of 4.00, invites bright, aspiring students committed to excellence to apply for admissions to the following Ph.D. programmes based on CSIR- UGC NET 2024/UGC-NET 2024 scores.
- The JRF qualified candidates in CSIR-UGC NET 2024/ UGC-NET 2024 shall be admitted into the Ph.D. programme based on an interview as per the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2022.
- For candidates who qualify in Category 2 (ie qualified for Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.) and Category 3 (i.e Admission to Ph.D. only), 70% weightage will be given for test scores and 30% weightage for interview for admission to Ph.D. Programmes. The Ph.D. admissions will be based on the combined merit of NET marks and the marks obtained in the interview / viva voce.
Candidates are required to apply online through University website: http://acad.uohyd.ac.in. The link will be made live with effect from 21-10-2024 (10:00 AM).
