TRB Tripura Teaching Recruitment 2024

Online applications are invited with effect from 04.01.2025 (from 4:00 PM) to 10.01.2025 (up to 4:00 PM) from Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura for selection to the following posts under Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.

All posts are Permanent and period of probation is 2-years.

Note: 33% horizontal reservation in the reserved category and 33% general reservation in the un- reserved category for women pursuant to GA (P &T) Department, Government of Tripura Notification vide No. F.23(17)-GA (P&T)/2022 dated 28.06.2022.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: TRB Tripura Teaching Recruitment 2024

    a) Under-Graduate Teacher (for Classes I-V):

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05)

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

    OR

    Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).

    AND

    (b) Passed Tripura-Teachers Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-l and obtained certificate issued by TRBT.

    (c) Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

    (d) Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) would be required while applying for jobs by direct recruitment under the State Government, Corporations, Boards, PSUs etc.

    (e) Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category.

    (B) Graduate Teacher (for Classes VI-VIII):

    (a) Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).

    OR

    At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

    OR

    Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed.

    OR

    Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) (Special Education).

    OR

    Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.

    “Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents, who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29 July, 2011.” (NCTE Notification dated: 13.11.2019)

    AND

    (b) Passed Tripura-Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-II and obtained certificate issued by TRBT.

    Age: TRB Tripura Teaching Recruitment 2024

    Up to 40 years as on 12.12.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH and Government Servant provided that Government Servants belonging to SC/ST/PH category shall not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norm.

    Pay: TRB Tripura Teaching Recruitment 2024

    A) Under-Graduate Teacher (for Class I-V): Rs. 16,050/ (Revised) fixed per month being 75% of the basic pay as per Level-7 of Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018. (Group-C Non- Gazetted)

      B) Graduate Teacher (for Class VI-VIII): Pay: Rs. 20,475/-(revised) fixed per month being 75% of basic pay as per Level-9 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018. (Group -C Non- Gazetted).

      Procedure for Online Submission of Application:

        Online Application can be submitted by logging in to the official website of Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura www.trb.tripura.gov.in. While applying online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils the norms of eligibility. Follow the steps below:

        (a) Log on to TRBT’s official website www.trb.tripura.gov.in and click on “Apply Online link. You will be directed to the registration page.

        (b) Candidates are to enter the required information such as name, DOB, email ID, Phone Number etc., and get themselves registered. Note down the Registration Number for future reference.

        (c) For registration, e-mail ID must be unique. Once registered, login with Registration Number/E-mail ID and password as set by you. For security reason do not share the password with others.

        (d) After logging in update your profile by entering all relevant information as per the online application form correctly.

        (e) Upload clear image of your recent passport size photograph (as enumerated in “How to apply section in the registration page) and full signature. The image of photograph must be clear enough so that the applicant can be recognised by seeing the photograph. The image of full signature must also be clear and legible. Any discrepancy in image of photograph and full signature will lead to rejection of the online application. Uploading of any unwanted photograph will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken against them who indulge in such activity.

        The size of the scanned image and signature should be as prescribed below:

        Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate (In JPG/JPEG format only, Size: up to 100 KB).

        Scanned image of full signature of candidate (In JPG/JPEG format only, Size: up to 60 KB).

        (f) Candidate can update certain information given in the profile from edit/update profile link before submission of online application. Online application once submitted the link will be disabled. No edit in profile can be done afterwards.

        (g) Candidate can apply for Under Graduate Teacher (classes I-V) and/or Graduate Teacher (classes VI-VIII) from ‘Apply Online’ link of candidate’s homepage.

        (h) Login and go to candidates “Home Page’

        (i) In candidate’s homepage, for Under Graduate Teacher please click on “Apply Online” link with respect to “Selection to the Post of Under Graduate Teacher-for Class 1-V Session 2024” and for Graduate Teacher (classes VI-VIII) Please Click on “Apply Online” link with respect to “Selection to the Post of Graduate Teacher-for Class VI-VIII-Session 2024”

        (j) Select eligibility criteria from drop down list. All particulars regarding academic and professional qualifications must be entered correctly.

        (k) Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the application if all information entered is correct. If any rectification is required click on “Edit Application” link in candidate’s homepage. Once finalised, the application form can no more be edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered is correct.

        (l) Make payment from the link provided in the home page of applicant. Payment can be done through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking facility of any leading bank. Information/PIN/Password etc., of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking must not be shared with others for making payment and TRBT will not be responsible for any fraudulent transaction due to such information sharing.

        (m) Payment of fee must be paid through the link provided in applicant’s home page and by no other means.

        (n) After successful payment print the online Application Acknowledgement and Payment Receipt. Preserve online Application Acknowledgement and Payment Receipt for future reference. Payment related disputes will not be entertained without Application Acknowledgement and Payment Receipt.

        (o) Candidates having their mark in CGPA, click on “check if CGPA is applicable” and enter exact equivalent percent of CGPA. Convert CGPA in exact equivalent percentage (as per formula given by the University/ Board) up to two decimal points and enter it in the appropriate box in the online application form. For example if the equivalent percentage of CGPA up to 2 decimal point is “59.99” enter “59.99” not “60”.

        (p) In case candidates are applying with Senior Secondary as academic qualification and do not possess Graduation/ Post graduation, please leave the qualification detail in the online application format with respect to Graduation/Post Graduation. Similarly if a candidate does not have Post Graduation has only graduation, leave the qualification detail in the online application format with respect Post Graduation

        (q) Please read the “How to apply” section in the registration page before proceeding for registration.

        (r) “Forgot Password” link can be used to reset password in case the candidate forgets her/his password.

        (s) Online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura, www.trb.tripura.gov.in and by no other means.

        Candidates having higher weightage will be selected for the post. When two or more candidates obtain same weightage, relative position would be judged in terms of seniority of date of birth of the candidates. In case date of birth is same then seniority of the date of obtaining requisite academic qualification for appearing in the said examination would be judged. Senior candidate will be given preference.

        In final case, if required; the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (academic) will be taken into consideration and preference will be given whose percentage of marks is higher.

        Scrutiny of Documents: TRB Tripura Teaching Recruitment 2024

        Limited number of Candidates will be called for scrutiny of documents depending on the number of vacant post and weightage they score. The weightage will be calculated as per table mentioned in point No.6. Depending on the number of post & weightage a number of candidates will be short listed and called for scrutiny of documents. Number of shortlisted candidates will be little higher than the actual number of posts.

        Candidate who remain absent on the scheduled date of Scrutiny of documents (like mark sheet, certificates, etc), his/her candidature will be summarily rejected without further notification. Inviting a candidate for scrutiny of documents will not entitle him/her any right for selection to the post for recruitment.

        At the time of scrutiny of documents a candidate must bring original copies of all mark sheets of academic and professional qualification, certificates (If any) of academic and professional qualification, T-TET certificate(as applicable), PRTC, Admit card of matriculation as proof of age, Caste certificate (if applicable).

        PH certificate (if any), Certificate of Ex-Serviceman (if applicable) and Application Acknowledgement of online application along with 2 sets of self attested photocopies of all these documents. Candidates are required to produce one photo bearing identity card in original like, AADHAAR Card / Passport / Driving License / EPIC (Voter I Card) at the time of scrutiny of documents. No TA, DA will be given for attending the venue at the time of scrutiny of documents.

          Fee: TRB Tripura Teaching Recruitment 2024

          100/- for Unreserved Category and 150/- for SC/ST/PH category, Fee once paid will not be returned. Candidature of a candidate will not be accepted if TRBT does not receive the fee for whatsoever reason. Application will not be accepted if the fee is deposited after the scheduled date as mentioned in this notification.

          Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates:

            Candidates having disability such as Blind or Low Vision, Partially Deaf & Hard of hearing and Locomotors Disability can only apply under PH category. The percentage of disability must be 40% or above.

            IMPORTANT

            Candidates to ensure their eligibility for the post. Candidates applying for a post should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for selection to the post. Selection is subject to scrutiny of documents and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application form.

            Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars as furnished in the online application form. Their admission to all the stages of the selection process will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Application Acknowledgement to a candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Board.

            Similarly getting invitation for scrutiny of documents will not entitle a candidate any right for selection to the post for recruitment. In case of any subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after selection / appointment, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.
