ADVERTISEMENT FOR RESEARCH OFFICER, RESEARCH ASSOCIATE AND RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Applications are invited for the temporary positions of research staff purely on contract basis for a research study on Municipal Fiscal Health and Land Policies.
1. Research Officer (one position)
Essential Qualification:
The applicant should have a Postgraduate Degree in any discipline with three years of research experience (preference will be given to a candidate with a background in Economics- particularly, Public Finance/Political Science/Public Administration/ Urban Studies, Urban Planning and allied fields).
Desirable Qualification:
Preference will be given to a candidate –
with a good knowledge of the subject, and significant experience and expertise of research (MPhil/PhD/Experience in independent research work or in projects). having familiarity with Statistical or Econometric Packages/Quantitative Analysis/ GIS.
Emoluments:
Rs. 50,000/-consolidated per month
Tenure of the post:
The appointment will be for four months. It may get extended depending on project requirements.
2. Research Associate (one position)
Essential Qualification:
The applicant should have a Postgraduate Degree in any discipline (preference will be given to a candidate with a background in Economics particularly, Public Finance/ Political Science/ Public Administration/ Urban Studies, Urban Planning and allied fields).
Desirable Qualification:
Preference will be given to a candidate with knowledge of Statistical or Econometric Packages Quantitative Analysis GIS.
Emoluments:
Rs. 40,000/- consolidated per month
Tenure of the post:
The appointment will be for four months. It may get extended depending on project requirements.
3. Research Assistant (one position)
Essential Qualification:
The applicant should have a Graduation Degree in any discipline.
Desirable Qualification:
Preference will be given to a candidate with knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Statistical or Econometric Packages, Data entry and data management.
Emoluments:
Rs. 25,000/- consolidated per manth
Tenure of the post:
The appointment will be for four months. It may get extended depending on project requirements.

The Project Leader reserves the right to offer a different designation, at a higher or lower emolument, to candidates who are not suitable for the advertised positions but can contribute to the project in other available posts.
