Applications are invited in the prescribed format for appointment to the posts of Registrar (Academic), Controller of Examinations, Deputy Registrar and Finance & Accounts Officer of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences from candidates who are Indian nationals and fulfil the eligibility criteria as provided in the detailed advertisement available in the University website www.ssuhs.in.

The applicants are to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/ (Rupees one thousand) only through online mode in the SBI Account: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, SBI GMC Branch A/C No. 32013070432 IFSC: SBIN0007700.

The applications complete in all respects should reach to the office of the Registrar, Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, 2nd Floor, Gauhati Medical College Building, Narakasur Hilltop, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-781032, Assam on or before 08-06-2022.

Those in employment shall have to submit No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview.

Those who have already applied vide previous Advertisement No. SSUHS/90/2021/1956, dated 23-03-2022 need not apply again. Their candidature will be duly considered.

The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences invites applications for the following posts from candidates having Indian citizenship as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India, and having requisite qualifications and experiences, for recruitment to various posts, as shown below:

The appointment to the post will be for a fixed term of not exceeding five years or on deputation. Candidates on deputation/ lien from State Govt./ Central Govt./ Autonomous Bodies may also be selected on contract basis.

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.1,44,200/- to Rs.2,18,200/- + other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic Level 14)

Age: Not more than 60 years as on the last date of application. Term of Appointment is for five years or up to 65 years of age whichever is earlier.

Qualifications & Experience required for the Post:
A person of very good academic standing, high professional integrity and wide ranging academic attainments and experience with PG Degree in any branch of Allopathic Medicine from any recognized University. He/ She should be Professor or Associate Professor of Allopathy with 5 years experience as Associate Professor.

Desirable:
Experience as UG/PG Paper Setter, Internal/ External Examiner/Inspector of Colleges and Universities.
Functional Computer literacy.
Experience of examination related works
Experience of Confidential works.
2.Registrar (Academic)Number of Post: 1 (one) UR

The appointment to the post will be for a fixed term of not exceeding five years or on deputation. Candidates on deputation/ lien from State Govt./ Central Govt./ Autonomous Bodies may also be selected on contract basis.

3.Deputy RegistrarNumber of Post: 1 (one) UR

Appointment shall be for 5 years on contractual basis. Candidates already in service in State Govt./ Central Govt./ Autonomous Bodies shall apply through proper channel and shall have to submit NOC from present employer allowing deputation/ lien as may be applicable if selected.

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.78,800/- to Rs.2,09,200/- + other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic Level 12)

Qualifications & Experience required for the Post
PG Degree in any branches of Allopathic Medicine from any recognized University or
Masters Degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade with Ph.D.

For Medical Candidates:
Associate Professor with minimum 2 years experience in Allopathic Medicine or

For Non-Medical Candidates:
9 (nine) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10.

Desirable:
Experience in Educational Administration or
Comparable experience in research establishment and / or
other institutions of higher education or
5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar, or in equivalent posts.
Medical candidates must possess Basic Course in Medical Education.
Functional computer literacy.
4.Finance & Accounts OfficerNumber of Post: 1 (one) UR

The appointment to the post will be purely contractual initially for a period of 3(three) years.

Pay Scale: Last Pay minus Pension.

Age: Not more than 62 years as on the last date of application.

Eligibility for the Post: Retired Officers of Assam Finance Service.
