Recruitment for Assistant Professor at K.P. TRAINING COLLEGE, PRAYAGRAJ. Applications are invited on prescribed proforma for 05 Post of Assistant Professor in B.Ed., as per NCTE Norms, UGC Guidelines & Regulation 2018. Details and application form are available on college website www.kptc.ac.in.

The candidates should submit their application form by hand (between 11:00am to 03:00pm from Mon to Fri) or by Post, with self attested supporting documents to the college.

Last date of submission of application form is 31/10/2022. The College reserves the right to increase, reduce or withdraw any or all posts. The College shall not be responsible for any Postal/Transit delay or technical problem.

Recruitment for the Post of Assistant Professor

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the posts of Assistant Professor of the College. The College reserves the right to change the number and nature of posts of any category and also to withdraw partial or full advertisements without assigning any reason.

The qualification shall be as per UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2018 & NCTE Norms (as amended from time to time).

The reservation under the SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS and PwD (Divyang Jan) categories shall be as per the UGC guidelines and Government of India rules.

General Instructions for Applicants

  1. All applicants are required to apply in the prescribed format with complete, correct information and attachments. The applicant will be solely responsible for the authenticity of the submitted information.
  2. The details regarding eligibility, qualifications, experience and screening guidelines etc. are available in UGC Regulations 2018 & NCTE Guidelines and its amendments from time to time.
  3. Applicants should possess the prescribed qualifications and experience as on the closing date of application, as prescribed by the UGC regulations 2018 and its amendments from time to time for the respective post. The posts advertised carry UGC pay scales plus admissible allowances. The posts are being advertised keeping in view the broad areas of specialization in subjects.
  4. The applications received shall be screened as per screening guidelines mentioned in UGC regulations 2018 & NCTE Guidelines for short listing and recommending the applicants to be called for an interview.

Mere fulfillment of the qualification or the eligibility criteria does not entitle an applicant to be necessarily considered or called for an interview.

Publications “under submission” or submitted to referees will not be considered for the calculation of marks for publication criteria. Further, all the items for which marks are claimed should be strictly in accordance with the screening guidelines.

  • Application fees and application form(s) are to be submitted as per the details given below:
    • Fees for Assistant Professor Rs. 2000/- for UR/OBC/EWS category.
    • Fees for Assistant Professor Rs.1000/- for SC/ST category.
    • No application fee will be charged to applicants from PwD categories.
    • Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
    • Application forms have to be filled as available on the website of the College along with this advertisement, within the prescribed time limit indicated in the advertisement.
    • Payment should be made through RTGS/Demand Draft/NEFT in favour of Principal K.P.   • The reservation for applicants from SC, ST, EWS & OBC (non-creamy layer), and persons with Disability (PwD) categories will be applicable as per UGC/Central Government norms.

Applicants seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD categories must attach the necessary documents justifying the claim of respective reservation as per Govt. of India lists/rules/norms. The certificate should be in the format prescribed by the Union Government and should be digitally verifiable.

In case the applicant wants to claim benefits under the PwD category, the applicant’s relevant disability should not be less than 40 per cent. Proof to this effect in the form of a valid Disability Certificate must be attached with the application.

Applicants applying for the post(s) reserved for OBC must attach a certificate of OBC (non-creamy layer) in the prescribed form issued by the Competent Authority. The certificate should be of the current financial year, by instructions issued by the Union Government in this respect from time to time. Applicants should ascertain that they belong to the reserved categories (caste) enlisted in the Central List for the Other Backward Classes.

If the relevant certificates for respective reserved categories are not attached with the application, the application may be rejected and no appeal against its rejection will be entertained.

  • The candidate must attach self-attested copies of all relevant testimonial and documents. The original certificates would be required at the time of interview only.
  • The shortlisted candidates called for interview should report along with all the testimonials/certificates in original along with valid photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID/DrivingLicense/Passport).
  • Applicants serving in Government/Public Sector Undertakings (including Boards/Autonomous Bodies) are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, at the time of the interview, if not attached with the application earlier. The NOC should also indicate the vigilance clearance from the parent department.
  • All correspondence from the College including interview letters, if any, shall be sent only to the e-mail address provided by the applicant in application form.
  • Applications which do not meet the eligibility criteria given in the UGC regulations 2018 & NCTE Norms/or are incomplete in any respect shall be summarily rejected.
  • The College reserves the right to amend the number of posts or not to fill any of the posts mentioned in the advertisement at its discretion without assigning any reason thereof.
  • Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of the interview may also be filled up by the available shortlisted candidates.
  • The College will verify the antecedents of the applicant at the time of appointment or anytime during the tenure of the service. In case it is found that the documents/information submitted by the candidate is false or the candidate has suppressed relevant information, the services of the candidate shall be terminated without prejudice to any other action initiated by the College.
  • In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of the offer letter, the College reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the applicants.
  • In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the College shall be final. Applicants are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the essential qualifications laid down in the UGC regulations 2018 & NCTE Norms and its amendment from time to time.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending interviews.
  • The last date for submission of the form shall be as specified in the advertisement.
  • Canvassing in any form will be treated as a disqualification.
  • Any dispute regarding the recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of Hon’ble Allahabad High Court, Prayagraj.
  • Any corrigendum/change/updates related to the recruitment process shall be available on the college website www.kptc.ac.in.
  • The decision of the Principal, K.P. Training College, Prayagraj in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection and conduct of interview will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
