Advertisement for Recruitment of Project Fellow in the Department of Sanskrit

Applications are invited from eligible male candidates exclusively to fill the existing contractual position of a Project Fellow, with a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 25,000/-.

The last date for submitting the application is Thursday, 28 November 2024.

2) Project Fellow shall be engaged purely on temporary contractual basis initially for a tenure of one year with extension for further period of one year at a time on satisfaction of the Research Advisory Committee.

3) The early termination of the assignment assigned to Project Fellow requires a notice period of at least one month or, alternatively, one month’s remuneration in compensation.

Method of Selection:

The overall evaluation will be comprised of academic results, which will account for 50 marks, along with an interview, equally valued at 50 marks.

The appointment will be made strictly from the Panel of successful candidates prepared on the basis of merit.

Schedule of the Interview:

Saturday, 30 November 2024 at 2:30 pm at Ramakrishna Mission Residential College.

Age:

Maximum 30 years as on the date of advertisement.

Qualification:

1) M.A. in Sanskrit with a minimum percentage of 55%.

2) A high level of proficiency in Unicode Devanagari (Sanskrit) typing and Proofreading.

3) Candidates must have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET).

4) Sound knowledge in Kavya

Honorarium / Pay:

Consolidated honorarium of Rs. 25,000/- per month without any dearness or other allowance shall be paid to the Project Fellow.

Items to bring during interview:

Candidates are to bring the following documents along with the original:

  1. Self-attested copies of Master Degree Mark Sheet /Certificate.
  2. Self-attested copies the University registration certificate.
  3. Self-attested copies of the relevant certificate for SC/ST/OBC/PC
  4. No Objection Certificate from Previous employer (If applicable)
  5. NET qualification certificate.
  6. Three recent colour passport size photographs

Important Note:

  1. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the authority reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate.
  2. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Authority shall be final.
  3. The Authority retains the discretion to leave the advertised vacancy unfilled if the situation necessitates such a decision.
