About the Workshop : One Day Workshop On Research Methodology & Ethics

Research is the cornerstone to broaden the horizon of our knowledge through systematic investigation. It establishes or reaffirms results of previous work or solves new or existing problem or support theorems so as to develop new theories. In this context it is essential to configure a meritorious research methodological process to overcome challenges, while carrying out research. A good research methodology is a key to get quality output.

It is necessary to expose PG students and research scholars to research methodology. Hence, a One day training workshop has been designed to cover fundamentals of research methodology, focusing on various aspects related to defining research problems, designing of research method, testing of hypothesis, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), interpretation & report writing etc.

Ethical conduct of research is generally defined as a set of principles that distinguish between acceptable behaviour or way conducting a task. Ethics may not only dictate the conduct and functioning of an organization or a government but also a business entity. Ethical norms make researchers accountable for the quality and outcome of the research that may directly or indirectly affect public health and interests.

Thus, the proposed workshop intends to provide an opportunity to participants to broaden the horizon of their knowledge in research methodology as well as to enrich their skills in conducting qualitative ethical research.

Registration

The registration would be done free of cost at the venue on the day of workshop. The participants would also be provided e-certificates after the completion of workshop.
