EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
Engagement of Assistant Professor (Guest faculties) and retired Professor(s) / retired Associate Professor(s).
Applications (in prescribed format available on the University website: www.osou.ac.in) are invited from eligible candidates as per UGC eligibility criteria to fill up faculty positions permitted vide Order No. 4478/HE dated 01.02.2024.
The last date for submission of application, complete in all respects is 27th January, 2025 (5.00 pm.)
FOR THE POSTS OF PROFESSOR(S) AND ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR(S):
Retired Professor or Associate Professor from Govt./Govt. Aided/ Pvt. Institution/University.
Having eligibility as per UGC Regulations 18th July 2018.
Below the age of 70 years.
Eligibility (A & B):
A. For the Post of Professor:
I. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC regulation 18th July, 2018.
IL A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
OR
An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
B. For the Post of Associate Professor:
Eligibility:
A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per table 2 of UGC regulation 18th July,2018.

Mixing of application, partly offline and partly online is not acceptable and shall be rejected.
Important Note:
The application received on or before the closing date shall be considered. The last date of submission of application, complete in all respects, is 27th January, 2025 (5.00 PM)
For single post top 20 candidates shall be called for interview, whereas for 2 posts 30 candidates and for 3 posts 40 candidates shall be called for interview in every cadre.
