North Bengal University Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB, Govt. of India funded project (CRG/2021/000183) in the Department of Physics.
Indian nationals are invited for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project entitled “Gravity beyond General Relativity and the Observed Universe with Dark matter and Dark Energy” in the Department of Physics, North Bengal University funded by SERB, Govt. of India.
Qualification for Junior Research Fellow: North Bengal University Recruitment
1. Good Academic Records.
2. Post Graduate Degree in Physics/Astronomy & Astrophysics/Cosmology and qualified National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship or GATE as per SERB-DST norm.
DESIRABLE: Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge in Theoretical Physics/General Relativity, programming and computation.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 31,000/-pm (as per SERB rules)
AGE: Maximum 28 years as on date of Interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.
The above position is purely temporary and initially for a period of one year or completion of project whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any post of the university.
